Ulcers next to tonsils

Ulcers next to tonsils

Many tonsil patients will find severe ulcers during the treatment process. It should be said that this is the most common oral disease. Ulcers on and around tonsils can cause great physical and mental pain to patients and seriously affect their normal life. So how should ulcers next to tonsils be treated? What are the issues that need to be paid attention to during the actual treatment process?

Tonsils Tonsillar ulcer, also known as tonsil ulcer, is a type of oral disease. The most common one is common oral ulcer, also known as recurrent oral ulcer. Generally speaking, the most common symptom of tonsil ulcers is oral ulcers. The area around the ulcers will be red and swollen, but the ulcers themselves are usually yellow, concave in shape, and usually painful. From the perspective of outpatient patients, young and middle-aged people are most likely to develop oral ulcers, and oral ulcer patients account for about 1/3 of the periodontal mucosal outpatient clinics, which is still relatively common. Most people have been troubled by this problem to some extent.

Causes of tonsil ulcers

1. Many patients with tonsil ulcers develop the disease due to excessive fatigue.

2. Internal factors of tonsil ulcers: endocrine disorders and reduced autoimmunity. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that frustrated emotions can damage the heart and spleen; yin deficiency leads to excessive fire, burning heat and toxicity, internal dampness and heat, which rise to the mouth and cause the above-mentioned symptoms.

3. External factors causing tonsil ulcers: genetic factors, mental stress, excessive fatigue from work, and frequent insomnia. Most female patients are induced to suffer from this disease before or after menstruation, which may make the condition worse or may harbor serious diseases in the body.

4. Some people also believe that tonsil ulcers are directly related to genetic, hormonal and other factors. For example, oral ulcers in women will worsen before menstruation, menopausal women are more likely to suffer from oral ulcers, but pregnant women are not prone to oral ulcers. These phenomena show that the occurrence of ulcers is directly related to hormonal changes.

Treatment of tonsil ulcers

1. Local treatment: Corrosive drugs are suitable for rare and small ulcers, occasional cases with a diameter of less than 5 mm, using 10% silver nitrate or 50% trichloroacetic acid tincture.

2. Chinese herbal powders: such as Yangyin Shengji Powder, Xilei Powder, Bingpeng Powder, etc.

3. The drug film is a mucous membrane with drugs added.

4. Systemic treatment: Vitamin drugs, 0.1~0.2 grams of vitamin C each time, three times a day. Vitamin B complex, one tablet each time, three times a day.

If secondary anaerobic infection occurs, metronidazole 0.2 grams can be used, 1 tablet/time, 3 times/day.

If you have diseases such as gastroenteritis, you should also seek timely treatment.

1. Caused by chronic pharyngitis. The treatment of chronic pharyngitis mainly targets the cause, such as quitting smoking and drinking, actively treating acute pharyngitis and chronic inflammation of the nasal cavity, sinuses, and tonsils, improving the working and living environment, and avoiding the stimulation of dust and harmful gases. Strengthen exercise, improve physical fitness and prevent colds. If you suffer from chronic hypertrophic pharyngitis, with hyperplasia and hypertrophy of the pharyngeal lymph follicles and obvious foreign body sensation in the pharynx, you can use fractionated laser, freezing or electrocautery treatment.

2. It is caused by bacterial infection. You can use amoxicillin, Pueraria lobata, etc. to treat it. Drink plenty of water and eat a light diet.

3. Use antibiotics to control infection, such as penicillin and metronidazole. Symptomatic treatment is sufficient and most cases can be cured. Take Pu Di Lan, Liu Shen Wan, etc., drink plenty of water, take rest, and supplement vitamin C. Most cases can be cured. The specific treatment should be followed by the clinical physician.

4. It may be caused by sore throat and inflammation, or oral ulcers and herpes. Try taking compound honeysuckle granules appropriately together with iodine iodine lozenges for a few days. Remember to drink plenty of warm water and avoid staying up late and overwork.
