How to store clothes is definitely a science. If the surrounding environment is a bit humid, clothes are prone to mold. Once clothes become moldy, they are difficult to clean. Fortunately, people have come up with many clever ways to resolve this troublesome problem. For example, we can put two spoons of white vinegar and half a bag of milk in clean water, soak the moldy clothes in it for about ten minutes, and then rub them for a while, the mildew stains on the clothes can be easily removed. 1. Chemical fiber clothes are moldy You can use a brush dipped in some strong soapy water to scrub it a few times, then rinse it with clean water, and the mildew stains can be eliminated; 2. Silk clothes get moldy Just soak the clothes in water for a while, and then brush them with a brush; if there are many mildew spots and they are very heavy, you can apply some 5% light nitrogen water on the mildew spots, wait for 3-5 minutes, and then wash them with clean water. If mildew spots appear on white silk clothes, use 50% alcohol solution and scrub repeatedly several times to quickly remove the mildew spots. 3. Cotton clothes get moldy You can use a few mung bean sprouts, rub them repeatedly on the places with mildew spots, and then rinse them with clean water, and the mildew spots will be removed;
First, put the clothes in the sun to dry, then use a brush to gently brush off the mildew spots; if the clothes are moldy due to oil stains or sweat stains, you can use a soft-bristled brush dipped in gasoline to repeatedly scrub the mildew spots, then wipe them repeatedly with a clean towel and place them in a ventilated place to dry. 5. Leather clothes have mildew spots You can first wipe it repeatedly with a towel dipped in soapy water, rinse it with clean water immediately after decontamination, and then apply jacket oil after drying. 6. Mildew stains on light-colored clothing You can soak the clothes in rice water overnight to allow the remaining protein to absorb the mold, and then proceed with the normal laundry procedure. 7. The original color can be exposed to the sun, and the colored ones should be placed in a ventilated place to dry. After the clothes are dry, you can use a brush to brush off the mildew stains. If woolen clothing is moldy, do not expose it to the sun directly. Cover the clothes with white cloth and brush off the mold stains after the clothes are dry. Alternatively, it can be cleaned with calcium chloride solution. 2. How to prevent clothes from getting moldy We should also pay attention to the storage of clothes in normal times, otherwise they will get moldy after washing. The clothes we change should be washed in time and not stored for too long. In humid seasons, we can put some moisture-proof items such as mothballs in the closet to prevent the increase of humidity in the closet, reduce the possibility of clothes getting moldy, and keep clothes clean. |
