How to completely remove stains from clothes

How to completely remove stains from clothes

In life, the clothes we wear will inevitably be stained with various stains, especially lighter-colored clothes. Once there are stains, they will be very obvious, such as white. There are many types of stains, such as paint stains, pen marks, blood stains, soy sauce stains, etc., which are not easy to clean. Different methods can be used to solve different types. So, how to completely remove stains from clothes? Let’s take a look below.

【1. Wash white clothes and white socks】

Stubborn stains on white clothes are difficult to eradicate. At this time, take a lemon slice and boil water, then soak the white clothes in the water and wash them after about 15 minutes.

[2. Strange smell when washing clothes]

Sometimes clothes will have an unpleasant smell of sweat and acid due to improper drying. Mix white vinegar and water, soak the smelly clothes for about five minutes, and then dry the clothes in a ventilated place!

【3. Remove pen stains】

Buy some oxalic acid (granular) from a chemical store, soak and scrub the clothes stained with pen stains in water dissolved in oxalic acid to remove the stains. Since oxalic acid is a weak acid, it will not corrode clothes.

[4. Cleaning soy sauce stains on clothes]

Method 1: You need to use white sugar. First, soak the stained area with water, then sprinkle a spoonful of sugar on it and rub it with your hands. We can see that some of the soy sauce has been stained on the white sugar, and then washing with water can remove the stains.

Method 2: Baking soda is required. After soaking the white vest, apply baking soda to the area stained with soy sauce. After 10 minutes, wash it with clean water to remove the soy sauce stains.

Method 3: You need to use fresh lotus root, cut the fresh lotus root with a knife, apply fresh lotus root juice on the soy sauce stains, wash it in water after 10 minutes to remove the soy sauce stains.

【5. Cleaning paint from clothes】

What should you do if paint gets on your clothes? The method is to apply cooling oil to the painted area, because the substances contained in the cooling oil can dissolve the paint, and then rinse it clean. If it is stained with water-soluble paint (such as water-soluble paint, latex paint) and household interior wall paint, it can be washed off with water in time; if nylon fabric is stained with paint, you can first apply lard and rub it, then soak it with detergent and rinse it with clean water.

【6. Cleaning grass stains】

You need to prepare 100 grams of salt and 1000 grams of water. Pour water into a container, stir it with your hands, put the clothes with grass stains into the basin, and soak them in salt water for 10 minutes. Put the clothes in water and wash them. You will find that the stubborn grass stains can be easily washed off.

7. Washing dyed clothes

Pour warm water into the washing machine, start the washing machine for rinsing, add disinfectant, add about one-third of a bottle of disinfectant to half a tank of water, dissolve and dilute, put in the clothes, cover the machine, rinse for about 25 minutes, take out the clothes after 25 minutes, and after the clothes are dried, they will return to their original color.

If you want to prevent clothes from fading, you must put some salt in the water (one teaspoon per bucket of water) for new clothes you just bought. Rinse them with clean water immediately after washing and don't soak them for too long! Finally, don't expose them to the sun, as the sun will denature the dye. It should be placed in a cool and ventilated place to dry.

[8. Cleaning blood stains]

When blood stains are just received, they should be washed immediately with cold water or light salt water (hot water is prohibited). White radish juice or mashed carrots mixed with salt can be used to remove blood stains from clothes. If the stain has been there for a long time, wipe the stained area with 10% ammonia water or 3% hydrogen peroxide, and then wash it with cold water after a while.

If it is still not clean, wash it with 10-15% oxalic acid solution and finally rinse it with clean water. Whether it is a new stain or an old stain, it can be cleaned by rubbing with sulfur soap. Apply hand oil on the blood stain, leave it on for about 15 minutes, and then wash it with clean water and soap.

[9. Easily wash away mildew spots on clothes]

Mung bean sprouts! Put the tender mung bean sprouts on the mold spots and rub them vigorously with both hands. Is it cleaner? Put some more mung bean sprouts and continue rubbing. Hmm, the color becomes much lighter. Rub again. Hard work pays off and the mold spots are gone. Finally, rinse with clean water. Haha, it's that simple. The problem is solved.

[10. Cleaning red and purple medicine]

Mercurochrome stains can be washed with white vinegar first, and then rinsed with clean water. Alternatively, you can first soak the mercurochrome stain and then scrub it with glycerin, and then wash it repeatedly with ammonia soap solution. If you add a few drops of dilute acetic acid and then wash it with soapy water, the effect will be better.

[11. Cleaning the plaster]

Sometimes, if clothes are stained with plaster, you can add a few drops of alcohol and water (or sorghum wine is also fine), rub it on the area stained with the plaster, wait until the plaster is removed, and then rinse with clean water, or rub it with roasted alum powder, and then wash with water. You can also sprinkle edible alkaline powder on the dirty area, add some warm water, rub it a few times, and it can be removed. If you heat alkaline flour in an iron spoon and then sprinkle it on the dirty area, then add warm water to rub and wash, the dirt will be removed faster.

[12. Wash yellowed clothes]

Rice washing water + orange peel is simple and effective: keep the rice washing water or put orange peel in a pot, add water and boil it, then soak the yellowed clothes in it and scrub them to easily restore their whiteness. Not only is it simple, it also does not have side effects on the skin like the fluorescent whitening agents sold on the market and does not damage clothes. It is a good method worth a try.

[13. Cleaning beer and rice wine stains]

For new stains, rub them immediately in clean water to remove them. Old stains can be washed with clean water first, then rubbed with a mixture of 2% ammonia and borax, and finally rinsed with washing water; for traces of rice wine, after washing with clean water, wipe the stained areas with 5% borax solution and 3% hydrogen peroxide, and finally rinsed with clean water.
