(4) Vegetables that attack the excessive fire: such as rhubarb, anemarrhena, coptis root, scutellaria, banana, celery, potato, sesame, peach kernel, jellyfish, white radish, etc., suitable for symptoms such as short yellow urine, dry stool, dry and bitter mouth, abdominal distension and poor appetite.

(5) Blood-cooling and blood-retaining foods: such as lotus root, pear, water chestnut, raw earth, fungus, eel, glutinous rice, lotus root powder, shepherd's purse, corn silk, mango, eel, bamboo leaf, Imperata root, purslane, etc. They can be used for epistaxis, bloody stool, hematuria, bleeding gums and other conditions caused by blood heat.

(7) Yin-nourishing and fire-reducing foods: such as soft-shelled turtle, kelp, seaweed, sea cucumber, spinach, pig blood, pig liver, brown sugar, black chicken, pumpkin, clam, white fungus, etc. They are mostly used for symptoms such as Yin deficiency and fire excess, fever in the five parts of the body, hot flashes, night sweats, and insomnia.

(8) Foods that nourish the internal organs and extinguish internal heat: such as black beans, yam, peanuts, milk, coix seeds, white fungus, pigeon eggs, quail, bird meat, eel, mutton, dog meat, leeks, mulberries, etc. They are suitable for various symptoms of internal heat caused by weak internal organs and insufficient yang energy.
