Causes and treatments of low-grade fever caused by kidney cancer

Low-grade fever in kidney cancer is mainly related to tumor heat. Cancer cells affect the body's temperature regulation system, leading to dysfunction and low-grade fever. Low-grade fever is also related to decreased immunity and bacterial or viral infection. In this case, we need to check blood routine PCT and chest CT to further clarify whether there is infection and the site of infection. If there is infection, anti-infective drugs need to be used for treatment, but physical cooling can also be used to reduce fever.

How is stage 2 kidney cancer treated?

Kidney cancer is a very common malignant tumor in the urinary system, and the second stage of kidney cancer belongs to a relatively early stage. The lesion is limited to the inside of the kidney, without invasion outside the renal capsule. This can be further treated with surgery. It is mainly a unilateral radical nephrectomy, because there are two kidneys on both sides, so the effect of removing one kidney on kidney function may not be too great. Generally speaking, kidney cancer can also be treated with biological immunotherapy in the second stage, such as the use of interferon or interleukin, and oral targeted drugs such as sorafenib or sunitinib.

Can most early-stage kidney cancers be cured?

Kidney cancer is a common malignant tumor in the urinary system, and its incidence rate is second only to bladder cancer. There are no specific symptoms in the early stage, and there are three symptoms in the middle and late stages: hematuria, low back pain, and lumps in the waist. Early kidney cancer is usually discovered by physical examination. The treatment method is mainly surgical treatment, and the effect of surgical treatment is accurate. Traditional open surgical incisions have slow recovery after surgery. Now the application of laparoscopy makes the surgery minimally invasive, less traumatic, and faster to recover. The prognosis is no different from open surgery. It has become the preferred treatment for early kidney cancer. Most common clear cell carcinomas can be cured in kidney cancer pathological types.
