As we all know, sesame has high nutritional value and tastes quite fragrant, especially black sesame. Regular consumption has many benefits for your health. However, the black sesame that you usually buy from the market looks relatively clean, but it is actually very dirty. It usually contains mud and sand, and needs to be washed before it can be eaten. However, sesame seeds are too small and are usually difficult to wash. How to clean sesame seeds skillfully? 1. Put half a basin of sesame seeds in a small basin, add water to 2/3 of the basin, and wash the sesame seeds with your hands. After the sesame seeds are fully soaked, scoop the suspended sesame seeds into a washing basket covered with gauze. Wash them with your hands in the small basin again, and then pour the suspended sesame seeds into the washing basket. Repeat this several times (note that there is mud and sand at the bottom, so don't pour it all into the washing basket). 2. It is troublesome to wash sesame seeds by ordinary methods, but a more convenient way is to put the sesame seeds in a small cloth bag (preferably made of white gauze, which can pass mud and sand but not sesame seeds), point the bag mouth to the faucet, and the water flow should not be too large. While flushing, rub the sesame seeds with your hands until the water is clear, then shake off the water, dry it, and take it out when you need it. 3. Wash it in a basin with water first, then put it in a colander to rinse it. Filter out the sand thoroughly and put it in a bowl and soak it in water. Some sand will sink into the bowl. Then pour all the sesame seeds into the gauze, rinse them with water again, and then dry them. Nutritional value and efficacy of sesame Black sesame is mild in nature and sweet in taste. It enters the liver, kidney and large intestine meridians. Linoleic acid (C18:2) in sesame has the function of regulating cholesterol. Sesame is rich in vitamin E, which can prevent the harm of lipid peroxide to the skin, offset or neutralize the accumulation of harmful free radicals in cells, make the skin white and moisturized, and prevent various skin inflammations. Sesame also has the effect of nourishing blood, and can treat dry and rough skin, making the skin delicate, smooth, rosy and shiny. |
