How to treat tibial artery flexion

Generally speaking, patients with varicose veins are very scary, because after suffering from varicose veins, the veins will protrude from the patient's skin surface like earthworms. The calves and thighs are the areas most prone to varicose veins. If varicose veins are not treated in time, they may cause problems such as blood clots and blood vessel rupture. What treatment measures are taken during the treatment of varicose veins?

What is the best way to treat varicose veins?

Intravascular ablation therapy: A small incision is made on the inside of the knee or ankle, and an extremely thin catheter is inserted. High-frequency waves (or radio frequency) or laser beams are used to burn and block blood flow in the varicose veins. Simple intravascular ablation can be performed under local anesthesia, requiring less hospitalization, scarring and pain. But the treatment is not complete.

Compression therapy: Use elastic stockings to apply external pressure to reduce edema caused by exercise. Theoretically, the pressure of elastic stockings is greatest at the ankle and gradually decreases upwards. Thigh-high elastic stockings are usually best. It is best to wear elastic stockings in the early morning before getting up and take them off after going to bed at night. If the patient has developed a leg ulcer due to venous hypertension, he or she should follow the doctor's instructions to take antibiotics and diuretics and supplement with special medical treatment.

Risks of sclerotherapy injection: Brown pigmentation may appear locally after injection; superficial venous thrombosis may form; allergic reaction to the sclerotherapy agent; and recurrence of varicose veins.

Surgical extraction: An incision is made in the groin to cut, ligate or extract the great saphenous vein. This procedure requires partial or general anesthesia and hospitalization for 7-10 days. If the varicose veins are too severe, several small incisions may be needed to remove the varicose veins section by section. The treatment is complete but has the disadvantages of subcutaneous bruising and more painful wounds.
