Tips to avoid foot pain from wearing high heels

High heels are a necessity for female friends, which can make them more elegant. However, if you wear high heels for a long time, it can easily cause pain in the soles of your feet. Industry insiders said that this is caused by incorrect shoe size and unequal walking posture; so you must determine the correct shoe size, study your own foot shape, use tools to soften the rough heels, and apply a thin layer of candle on the edge of the shoe and seams.

1. Make sure you are wearing the correct shoe size

Before buying high heels, be sure to try them on first! Although online shopping is becoming more and more popular, if you buy high heels without trying them on, the risk of your feet being hurt is as high as 99%!

In addition, not only do shoe sizes vary between brands, but foot size also changes over time. Girls' feet are prone to swelling. If you want to wear clothes comfortably, you must choose the right time to try them on when your feet are the most swollen. This way, you won't feel comfortable wearing them in the morning, but become extremely painful in the afternoon.

2. Study your foot shape

Oriental people have thicker insteps and wider soles, which is very different from the foot shape of Westerners. Therefore, when buying Western brand high heels, you must go to the counter to try them on before making a decision. In addition, when trying on high heels, you must pay special attention to the bend point of your foot. Usually, when the sole of your foot matches the widest part of the shoe, it will be relatively comfortable to wear.

3. Use tools to soften the hard heels

If the heels and edges of the shoes are particularly prone to rubbing your feet, you can use the temperature of a hair dryer to soften the leather. Alternatively, you can place the heel on a towel and tap the leather at the heel joint with a hammer to reduce the chance of friction between the leather and the skin.

4. Use candle to apply a thin layer of wax on the edge of the shoe and the seams.

In addition to new shoes being too hard and rubbing your feet, stitches are also often the cause of foot rubbing. Simply apply white candle back and forth on the places that rub your feet, such as the heels and both sides of the toes, to improve the problem of friction caused by rough stitches and shoe edges.
