What to do if Huang Feng bites and it becomes red and swollen

Wasps generally do not hurt people easily, but if you accidentally startle a wasp, there is a high possibility of being stung. Since bees have a certain amount of venom, after being bitten, you must deal with it promptly, but not blindly. You must follow the correct methods and steps. In addition, you can also prevent wasp bites through certain methods. Here we will introduce to you the treatment and prevention measures for wasp bites!

1. How to deal with wasp bites

(1) Carefully examine the wound. If there is a stinger left in the skin, remove it first.

(2) If you are stung by a bee, because bee venom is acidic, you can use soapy water or 3% ammonia water, 5% sodium bicarbonate solution, salt water, etc. to wash the wound. If you are stung by a wasp, wash and apply vinegar. You can also wash fresh purslane and squeeze the juice to apply to the wound.

(3) If you have Nantong snake medicine (Jide Du snake medicine), you can dissolve the tablets in warm water and apply it around the wound; or grind Zijinzhan or Liushenwan into powder and apply it to the affected area. It has the effect of detoxification, pain relief and swelling reduction.

(4) Folk prescriptions can be used:

① Mash garlic or ginger or apply juice to the affected area.

②Cut the fresh eggplant and apply it to the affected area; or add appropriate amount of sugar, mash it and apply it.

③ Mash fresh violet yedoensis, lobelia, dandelion, wild chrysanthemum, leek, etc. together or individually and apply to the affected area.

(5) If an allergic reaction occurs, for mild cases, you can take 1 tablet of Astemizole once a day; or 4 mg of Promethazine, 3 times a day. Those with severe symptoms should be sent to hospital for treatment as soon as possible.

To sum up, now remember that bee stings should be treated with alkaline.

Treat wasp stings with acid.

What you often encounter in the wild are wasps, so remember the acid treatment.

2. How to prevent wasp bites?

Hornets are beneficial insects that feed on insects. They usually sting people only when they are attacked. Currently, there is no good way to prevent and control hornets. The only methods usually used are burning and spraying pesticides to kill them. If you encounter a hornet, it is best to squat down immediately and wrap your head with clothes. This can be a temporary prevention.

3. Notes

We would like to remind everyone to pay special attention to any injury and not to block the wound with soil, rags, dirty handkerchiefs, etc., so as to avoid tetanus and cause human death.

The bees we commonly see are honey bees and wasps. If you are stung by a bee, its stinger will remain in the human body. You can pull out the broken stinger first. Since bee venom is acidic, it can be washed with 3% soapy water or 5% ammonia water; if you are stung by a wasp, use vinegar to relieve pain and itching.
