My lymph nodes hurt a little, what's going on?

When it comes to lymph, many people should be familiar with it, because there are a lot of lymph in the human body, especially in the neck, which is the part of the human body with the most lymph. There are many toxins in the lymph. Well, when there is inflammation in the human body, it often causes swollen lymph nodes. Swollen lymph nodes generally do not require treatment. As long as the inflammation in the body is cured, the body will also be cured. So, why is the lymph a little painful?

In fact, the general rule for lymph nodes is that they become swollen due to inflammation of a certain body organ (such as inflammation, wounds, etc.). Generally, when any part of the body is inflamed, the nearby lymph nodes will swell as they carry out defense and sterilization. Since it is tonsillitis, it is normal for the lymph nodes near the neck and jaw to be swollen and painful. We will have this too. Usually, enlarged lymph nodes will gradually shrink or disappear as the disease heals, but some lymph nodes may never return to their original state.

That is to say, even if the tonsillitis is cured, the lymph nodes may not necessarily get better. If the swollen lymph nodes are mild, they will get better naturally after a period of time and it is not a big problem. But if the swelling is severe and does not heal for a long time, then treatment is needed: first, to prevent it from further worsening, and second, the body needs it to restore its function, exert its immune and bactericidal effects, and enhance physical fitness. You can take antibiotics that inhibit and kill Gram-positive bacteria, such as cephalosporins (cephradine - from Bristol-Myers Squibb), macrolides (roxithromycin, clarithromycin), or broad-spectrum antibiotics such as amoxicillin. Stop using it after about a week. You can take VC, but not for a long time.

Also, gargle with salt water frequently. To add: The lymphatic system is the immune system. If the tonsils are inflamed, the lymphatic system will react, especially the lymph nodes on both sides of the neck. It will hurt and feel sore when pressed. This is normal. Does your friend have these early symptoms of lymphoma? Fever, night sweats, or weight loss? Itchy skin? Probably not, right? Then don't worry. As long as you receive active treatment, everything will be OK. Now it's summer, your friend should pay more attention to drinking more water and not getting hot. This requires a process. Don't worry too much. In fact, swollen and painful lymph nodes may seem like a minor illness, but the effects of the drugs used in hospitals and produced by pharmaceutical companies have not been satisfactory so far. If you are really worried, you should go to the hospital for examination and medication.
