Doctors hope that people who have experience wearing contact lenses or cosmetic contact lenses will have an easier time with laser surgery. If you are wearing contact lenses, you must not wear them 2 weeks before the surgery.

Then the surgery was scheduled that day. I was invited into a fully disinfected room before the surgery. The nurse asked you to open your eyes and poured a special eye disinfectant liquid into your eyes. To be honest, it was really uncomfortable. Then, when the baby is about to enter the operating table, the doctor will ask the parents to sign a surgical accident contract.

After you enter, a nurse will take a bottle of eye drops and put them into your eyes, which is actually eye anesthetic. Then I put you on the operating table.

The whole operation was very quick. It was over in just a few minutes and I didn't feel anything at all. My eyes were open for just a few minutes, and then some liquid started to flow out of them, and then it was over. Then the doctor will put on an eye patch to protect your eyes from contamination. To be honest, it was really funny. I had to wear it for 3 days. I didn’t go out for 3 days.

After the laser surgery, my vision recovered to 2.0, the same as that of a normal person. I am very happy. After the operation, I couldn’t read books, watch TV or play computer games for at least half a month. I could only lie down, feeling helpless.

The maintenance after the operation is also very troublesome. The eyes will be more prone to dryness than ordinary people. I have to go to the hospital for a check-up after a period of time, and I have to use their special eye drops, which are very expensive.

It has been 5 years now, and my eyesight has deteriorated a little. This is probably what is called a sequelae. I personally suggest that you should not do it lightly if the temperature is below 500 degrees. You can consider it if it is above 500 degrees, but it is best not to do it if it is above 800 degrees, because the higher the temperature, the greater the sequelae will be. Just like me, if I don’t maintain it well, I will regress faster.
