Puhexiang is a popular drink that can remove moisture from the body. Many people are curious about whether Pu He Xiang is really effective? In fact, in summer, the moisture in the body gradually increases, which can cause edema, acne, constipation and other symptoms. Many foods can help us remove moisture from the body, such as winter melon, coix rice, etc. The formula of Pu He Xiang is mainly composed of these ingredients.

It is composed of 15 ingredients: red bean, coix seed, dandelion, wax gourd, lotus leaf, patchouli, poria, mulberry leaf, loblolly leaf, gardenia, inula flower, mint, purslane, honeysuckle, and chrysanthemum.

Dampness is also called "yin evil" in traditional Chinese medicine, and the spleen is the most yin organ, which likes dryness and hates dampness, so the spleen is most active in July and August. If there is too much moisture in the long summer, it can easily damage the spleen. At the same time, the spleen is responsible for transporting and transforming water, and its characteristics are that yang is easily weakened and yin is easily excessive. When dampness invades the human body, it is most likely to damage spleen yang, and the weakness of spleen yang further contributes to the invasion of dampness. Some people like to eat pork. Pork is salty and cold in nature, and it produces phlegm. Eating too much meat can also lead to phlegm and dampness. If you feel that there is a lot of dampness in your body, it is best to stick to a vegetarian diet for a period of time. Eating rice cooked in a rice cooker for a long time can also easily cause dampness in the body. People with dampness in the body can use barley and red bean soup or rice crust to solve the problem. After drinking barley and red bean soup for a while, drink millet porridge to nourish the spleen and stomach. After a long time, the spleen will be healthy and the dampness will be eliminated.

From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, when dampness invades the human body, there will be the following eight typical symptoms.

The mouth is sticky, the tongue coating is white, greasy, and sticky. Dampness causes disease with the characteristics of stickiness and stagnation. Therefore, when we are affected by dampness, we usually experience some sticky symptoms. The most typical symptoms are a sticky mouth and a greasy white coating on the tongue. This is because dampness invades the human body and damages the spleen, resulting in dysfunction in the spleen's function of transporting and transforming the essence of water and grain. This leads to changes in appetite and abnormal taste, and people have no appetite for food. Also, because "the spleen opens up to the mouth", the mouth becomes sticky. If you stick out your tongue, you will find that the tongue coating is white and greasy.

Distension of the chest and abdomen and short and astringent urination are due to dampness being a yin evil. After entering the human body, it stays in the internal organs and meridians, easily blocking the Qi mechanism, causing poor circulation of Qi in the human body, thus causing a variety of discomforts. If dampness stagnates in the chest and diaphragm, it will cause poor qi movement in the chest and diaphragm, resulting in chest tightness; if dampness obstructs the spleen and stomach, the spleen and stomach will function abnormally, and qi movement will be blocked, resulting in abdominal distension; if dampness stays in the lower part of the body, qi movement will be blocked, and qi transformation will be unfavorable, resulting in short and astringent urination.

The head feels heavy, the limbs are tired, and the dampness is heavy and turbid. The symptoms causing the disease are generally characterized by heaviness and heaviness. Also, because "the spleen governs muscles", if dampness invades the skin, the whole body may feel heaviness, heaviness in the limbs, fatigue, and a heaviness in the head as if wrapped in cloth. If the dampness stays in the meridians and joints, severe joint pain may be seen.

Lower limb edema and frequent diarrhea. Dampness belongs to water, and water tends to move downward, so dampness has the characteristic of moving downward and easily damaging the lower part of the human body. Common symptoms include lower limb edema and diarrhea. The stool is usually loose but sticky and not clear, and there is a feeling of discomfort after defecation. If it is dysentery, the stool is usually mucous, purulent and bloody.
