How to eliminate flying termites

How to eliminate flying termites

Flying termites are also called flying ants, which are termites before their wings fall off. Flying termites have high reproductive rates and can cause great harm, so once they are discovered, they must be eliminated. If allowed to develop, the consequences will be disastrous. So how do you eliminate flying ants? Is there any good way to kill flying termites? Today I will tell you how to eliminate flying termites.

Taking advantage of the light-chasing habit of flying ants

You can light a candle, as the saying goes, moths fly into a flame, or you can directly use a small sun, turn off other light sources, and quietly wait for the giant water ants to come and put out the fire, and by the way, eliminate mosquitoes and flies as well.

Tips: This method can not only eliminate flying ants, but also eliminate a lot of mosquitoes, so this method is worthy of recommendation.

You cannot spray termites with pesticides or alarm them because termites are afraid of light. They eat away at wooden products from the inside out and are very covert. By the time you discover them, they may have spread throughout the entire house.

What you have discovered is actually only a small part of them; most of them are still hidden in the dark. Therefore, our termite extermination is different from exterminating other pests. We want to eliminate them as a whole rather than individually. There are special drugs for termite extermination. They rely on the habit of termites feeding each other to cross-infect each other and achieve the effect of killing the entire nest. In order to achieve this effect, when spraying the drug, the minimum amount of drug that the termites are exposed to must be met at one time in order to infect the entire nest. Otherwise, any improper operation will cause them to move quickly or reproduce in separate nests.

First of all, you should try to keep the room dry and ventilated, especially after the rain, because termites like to live in damp and hidden places, so you should regularly check things and corners in your home that have not been moved for a long time to see if there are termites.

If you find termites flying around at night, remember to close the doors and windows, and spray some insecticide in the gaps between the door and window frames to prevent termites from entering the room.

For termites that have already flown into the room, you can turn off the lights and put a basin of water in the room, then shine a flashlight or desk lamp on the water surface. Because the water will reflect the light, the flying ants will fly into the water, thereby achieving the purpose of eliminating the termites.

Termites can secrete formic acid, which is highly acidic and can corrode objects. If our skin comes into contact with objects corroded by termites, symptoms of skin allergies and itching will appear.
