Toothache sepsis is sepsis caused by toothache. It is an acute blood disease in which the blood is invaded by toxic bacteria and viruses. This disease is very scary and is usually caused by an infection in the blood. Moreover, the infection can spread very deeply. As we all know, there are a lot of nerve tissues around the gums, which are also very fragile. Once the infected blood flows to the gums, it will cause swelling and pain in the patient's gums and ulceration of the nerve tissues, and finally bleeding. Causes of toothache 1. Pain caused by acute and chronic pulpitis (often sensitive to hot and cold stimuli). The dental pulp, which is commonly known as the dental nerve, can be very painful once it starts to hurt. Since the inflammation that causes this pain is confined to the hard tissue of the teeth, which has a poor blood supply, although it can be very painful, it is rarely fatal. 2. Pain caused by apical periodontitis (feeling of teeth floating). Inflammation occurs in the tissues surrounding the root apex. Among them, acute suppurative apical periodontitis is also called acute alveolar abscess. This is a kind of pain that should arouse vigilance. If not treated in time, the inflammation will spread to the adjacent tissues, causing osteomyelitis of the jaw and cellulitis of the maxillofacial area. Bacteria will also spread throughout the body through blood circulation and lymphatic circulation, causing systemic reactions. Toxemia and sepsis related to toothache are also common in this type of patients. 3. Pain caused by periodontitis (mainly a feeling of weakness when biting, or swelling and pain caused by acute abscess). This is a position that is relatively connected to the outside world and has a rich blood supply. Once bacteria "invade", it can easily cause local swelling and suppuration, and may also cause acute and chronic inflammation of distant important organs. Fortunately, as long as the treatment is timely and standardized, most patients can have a good recovery. 4. Pain caused by pericoronitis. Early symptoms of toothache It is more common in full-thickness teeth (commonly known as "wisdom teeth"). Clinically, it is not uncommon for patients to develop sepsis due to pericoronitis of wisdom teeth. People with underlying systemic diseases should be especially vigilant. "In addition to regular checkups, we generally recommend that patients check themselves: as long as there are changes in the color (white, black, etc.), texture (softening), or shape (missing, cracked, or with holes, etc.), or if the teeth cannot tolerate cold or sour food, or if there is no strength to bite hard objects, or if the teeth are floating or the gums are bleeding, you should seek medical attention in a timely manner. These are all early signs of tooth damage. Mitigation 1. Ginger slices can effectively relieve toothache 2. Water containing MSG can also relieve toothache. 3. Aloe vera for toothache 4. Take 10 peppercorns and one or two liang of white wine, soak the peppercorns in the wine, and hold the wine in your mouth after ten minutes. The effect will be seen in a few minutes. |
