What causes the scalp to become hot and itchy?

When there is a lot of dandruff, our scalp will become itchy conditionally, especially in summer when the weather is bad. Then we will sweat easily and our scalp will become itchy. However, sometimes a hot and itchy scalp is not normal. It may cause sequelae and side effects. If you have abnormal scalp fever and itching, you should go to the hospital for examination immediately. So what is the cause of a hot and itchy scalp?

Scalp itching is caused by the destruction of the balance of scalp flora and the proliferation of harmful bacteria. If not prevented and treated, it will cause an imbalance of oil and metabolism, disrupt the entire scalp state, and seriously damage the health of the scalp. The scalp is the most important command control center of the human body - the natural barrier of the head. Its fragility and sensitivity are second only to the eyelids, and it can be said that a single move can affect the entire body.

The scalp is itchy and scratching is unbearable. There is a white sheath-like fungus sheath at the root of the hair, and the hair often breaks off about 0.5 cm away from the scalp. Initially, it appears as localized white scaly patches, on which the hair turns gray. If not treated, it gradually expands and small satellite-like scaly patches appear around it.

1. Observe whether there are pustules or red bumps. This is common sense. Perhaps you have been exposed to allergens during work or labor, causing your scalp to itch. With today's chemical drugs, the possibility of causing lice on the scalp is almost non-existent.

2. Too much dandruff. When there is too much dandruff, the pores of the scalp are blocked, which causes the hair to grow unhealthy, making it easy for bacteria to proliferate, and irritate the skin and cause itching. Therefore, it is recommended that you do not need to see a doctor for this type of itchy scalp. Just wash your hair frequently and pay attention to personal hygiene.

3. Pathological scalp itching is caused by taking medicines during illness, which leads to changes in the sensitivity of the skin. It is generally local itching, which requires timely medical treatment and pharmacological treatment according to the scientific advice of the doctor.

4. Excessive stimulation of the scalp causes the scalp muscle tissue to tense, and the nervous system will mistakenly transmit the itchy scalp to the brain. In this case, you can massage the scalp appropriately to relax the nerve endings of the scalp. Reducing the frequency of scalp stimulation will generally help your scalp return to health quickly.

5. The imbalance of scalp oil causes itching. You don’t understand your skin well enough and the shampoo you use causes an imbalance in scalp secretions. It is recommended to stop using the shampoo immediately and take further care of your scalp skin. You should also pay attention to your eating habits and try not to eat irritating foods.
