There is air in my throat and I want to burp

In daily life, many people will feel like burping due to air in their throats. This situation will not only cause certain harm to the patient's body, but also affect their normal life and work. Therefore, it is particularly important to understand the causes of this disease and find scientific and effective treatments. Friends in need can learn more about relevant knowledge in case of emergency.

1. There is air in the throat and you want to burp

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that this is a manifestation of liver-stomach disharmony and a problem with the digestive system. When people reach middle age, they are bound to have some unhappy and unsatisfactory things. Those products of "anger, annoyance, worry, and thinking" accumulate in the heart, lingering and difficult to vent. I have seen people who burp constantly, as if there is a constant flow of gas produced in the body and rushing out of the throat in a hurry. Some people can even induce hiccups by rubbing any part of their body. This kind of hiccups is called "gas obstruction" in the words of the common people.

2. The methods for regulating belching are as follows

Step one: Pat the triple burner meridian. It is located on the midline of the outer arm. You can tap along the shoulder through the elbow, all the way to the wrist, and tap both arms, repeatedly.

Tapping the San Jiao Meridian is most effective for people who are angry and irritable. If you encounter something that makes you angry or upset, tap the San Jiao Meridian hard. The angrier or more upset you are, the harder you can tap. The body's vital energy runs through the triple burner, so keeping the triple burner unobstructed is to ensure that the qi flow is unobstructed.

When people's liver qi is not smooth, the operation of qi will become abnormal, and at this time, harmful substances can easily accumulate in the triple burner. You can observe menopausal women. The outside of their arms are covered with fat, and it hurts if you touch them slightly. This is a sign of obstruction. These deposits must be cleared, otherwise the Qi and blood cannot flow smoothly.

Nowadays, many people know that they need to vent their emotions, and have introduced the sandbag hitting exercise which is popular abroad. They believe that hitting the sandbag can vent emotions and release stress. I suggest that if you have that much energy, you might as well tap your Sanjiao meridian, which directly acts on the body's meridians and regulates the qi. It is also economical, effective, and can strengthen your body.

I have seen some people who had hiccups while they were tapping the Sanjiao meridian. After doing so, they felt their chests were brighter and the hiccups were significantly reduced.

Step 2: Pat the Tanzhong point. Tanzhong is located at the intersection of the center line of the torso and the line connecting the two nipples. Tapping Tanzhong can promote the discharge of gas accumulated in the chest cavity out of the body, promote blood circulation, and improve heart function.

The number of times you can pat Tanzhong is 10 to 20 times, depending on your own tolerance, and you should pat lightly, just enough to stimulate the acupoint. Don't hit it hard like Tarzan. This method is to imitate the habitual action of gorillas to pat their chests and adjust the qi. After shooting, I feel relieved.

Step 3: Massage the acupoints. You can focus on massaging three acupoints, namely Yifeng, Neiguan and Zusanli. The Yifeng point is located in the depression behind the root of the earlobe. Pressing it will cause a feeling of soreness and numbness. The Neiguan point is located on the midline of the inner side of the forearm, four fingers below the wrist line. Pressing it will also cause a feeling of soreness and numbness. The Zusanli point is located four fingers below the knee pit, and there is a pit one finger's width to the outside. This pit is the Zusanli point. Massage each acupoint for 3 minutes.

Step 4: Take liver-softening nutrients, such as vitamin B12. Taking them will relieve depression, anger, and irritability, and hiccups will also be much less frequent.

Step 5: Eat some yin-nourishing foods regularly, such as lily, ophiopogon japonicus, water chestnut, lotus root, pear, etc.

Step 6: Strengthen the spleen and stomach, and nourish qi. Here I will focus on the issue of strengthening the spleen and stomach. Everyone has unhappy times. Why don’t we have so many problems when we are young, but after middle age, all kinds of problems will appear as long as the qi flow is not smooth? This is mainly due to spleen deficiency and insufficient vital energy. Young people have better spleen function and sufficient positive energy. Under the impetus of strong positive energy, the human body is less likely to have problems with qi reversal or qi stagnation. Even if one is really depressed occasionally, a burp or a few loud farts will be fine because of the sufficient positive energy. On the contrary, middle-aged and elderly people, due to the weakening of spleen and stomach functions, qi deficiency, and insufficient positive energy, will experience qi reversal when they are in a bad mood, because the positive energy cannot control the flow of qi and cannot curb the upward "evil energy". Therefore, middle-aged people should not get upset. To put it bluntly, you “can’t afford to get upset”. There is a need to have the capital to lose your temper, and that is to be healthy and have abundant qi and blood. For middle-aged and elderly people, if they are not careful, their breath may get stuck in a certain part of the body, causing congestion, and they will be the ones who suffer.

The symptoms of Qi deficiency include haggardness, fatigue, lack of sleep, insomnia, dreaminess, decreased immunity and resistance, etc. In the absence of any disease, long-term conditioning is recommended. Ginseng is the first choice for replenishing qi. It is recommended to take ginsenoside rh2. You can also take foods that have the functions of replenishing the spleen and qi, invigorating the spleen and stimulating appetite, such as japonica rice, indica rice, coix seed, cooked lotus root, chestnut, yam, lentil, cowpea, beef, chicken, rabbit meat, tripe, mandarin fish, grapes, red dates, carrots, potatoes, shiitake mushrooms, etc.
