How to clean coffee stains

How to clean coffee stains

When drinking coffee, you may accidentally spill coffee on your clothes. At this time, you should wash them in time. If the coffee dries for a long time, it will form coffee stains, which are more troublesome to clean, especially for some woolen clothing and some knitted products. At this time, you can use certain methods to clean it, such as soaking it in warm water or gently scrubbing it, which can gradually remove the coffee stains.

How to Clean Coffee Stains

1. Coffee stains on clothes can be washed with detergent, and then add a few drops of ammonia before washing. If it is wool clothing, do not use ammonia, because ammonia is very alkaline and will destroy the scaly structure on the surface of the wool fiber. Instead, use glycerin solution to wash.

2. To remove coffee stains, wash immediately with 70-80% hot water to remove them.

3. ① Old coffee stains can be wiped with a mixture of glycerin and egg yolk, and then rinsed with clean water after it dries slightly.

② Or apply glycerin on the stain, sprinkle a few grains of borax on it, and soak it in boiling water.

③You can also wipe it with diluted ammonia, borax and warm water.

④ Old coffee stains can be wiped with a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution and then rinsed with clean water. They can also be cleaned with salt or glycerol solution.

4. For coffee stains that are not too strong, you can use soap or laundry detergent soaked in hot water to clean them. For stronger coffee, you need to sprinkle a little glycerin into the egg yolk, mix them and apply them to the stain. After the stain is slightly dry, you can use soap and hot water to clean it.

Removing Coffee Stains from Leather

1. Carefully blot away excess liquid.

2. Mix neutral soap and lukewarm water into a solution and stir vigorously to produce a lot of foam.

3. Dip a sponge in an appropriate amount of foam and wipe the stain.

4. Wipe dry with a clean dry cloth.

5. If a grease stain remains, sprinkle some absorbent (such as cornstarch) on the stain. The retention time should be long enough.

6. Gently brush off the absorbent. Repeat the above process if necessary.

Avoid drinking on an empty stomach or immediately after a meal, as this may irritate the stomach and intestines or affect the digestion and absorption of nutrients. It is best to drink it between meals, because coffee can promote gastrointestinal motility and help digestion, and can also effectively break down high-calorie, high-fat foods.
