What are the signs of a person emitting a bad odor?

Smell is a smell that everyone has, and everyone has a different smell. This was also one of the signs that people used to distinguish their identities in primitive times. Once the human body emits some odor, it should be taken seriously, as it may be a sign of disease and must be carefully diagnosed and identified. For example, what is the sign if a person emits a bad odor? Let’s take a look at the explanation below, I hope everyone can understand it.

"Liver odor": Patients suffering from fulminant hepatitis or severe liver damage caused by other reasons often exhale a special odor, commonly known as liver odor. Since methyl mercaptan and dimethyl disulfide cannot be metabolized by the liver, they accumulate in the body and evaporate, producing a special odor. Liver odor indicates that liver function is severely damaged and is a sign of a serious condition.

"Rotten apple smell": When the condition of a diabetic patient is serious, a large amount of fat is oxidized in the liver to produce ketone bodies, which diffuse into the blood, causing acetone to be present in the exhaled breath. The patient's exhaled gas will smell like rotten apples. A rotten apple smell is characteristic of diabetic ketoacidosis.

"Urine smell" : Patients with chronic nephritis or kidney disease, whose condition progresses to the stage of chronic renal failure (commonly known as uremia), cannot excrete certain toxic substances (such as urea nitrogen, creatinine, etc.) from the body due to anuria and are retained in the blood. This will cause the patient's exhaled gas to emit a urine or ammonia smell, which is a signal that the condition is becoming critical.

"Fecal odor": In patients with vesicocolic fistula, feces in the intestines can enter the bladder through the fistula and dissolve in the urine, so the urine excreted usually has a fecal odor. In addition, patients with urachal fecal fistula have feces leaking from the umbilical fistula, and patients with fecal incontinence cannot control their bowel movements, and their bodies may also emit an unpleasant fecal odor.

"Putridious smell" : Patients with cystitis or suppurative pyelonephritis will have a foul smell in their urine due to the large number of bacteria growing and multiplying in their urine.
