How to clean oil stains on cashmere sweaters?

Cashmere sweaters are one of people's favorite types of clothing because they can keep you warm in winter and they are also more upscale and can satisfy people's psychological needs for material things. Since cashmere sweaters are made of spring cashmere, they need to be carefully protected to prevent the cashmere from deteriorating. Oil stains are dangerous contaminants that affect the quality of cashmere. Let’s take a look at how to clean oil stains from cashmere sweaters. I hope everyone can understand.

If the cashmere coat is stained with oil or other local stains, you can try to clean it with the following methods:

1. Use a towel dipped in neutral laundry detergent or a special detergent solution for silk and wool to gently wipe the wool surface to remove stains;

2. Use the same method to use a clean towel dipped in clean water to remove any remaining detergent. Can be repeated several times. Try not to get the leather wet during the operation and dry it in a cool place in time.

If wool fabrics get dirty, they must be cleaned immediately to avoid leaving traces. The longer the stain stays on the surface, the harder it is to wash off. Also, as time goes by, the stain will penetrate into the fibers and will inevitably require vigorous friction during cleaning, which will more easily damage the clothing.

If it can be washed, please note the following:

1. Not resistant to alkali. If washing with water, it is advisable to use a neutral detergent without enzymes, and it is best to use a special detergent for wool. If you use a washing machine to wash, it is best to use a drum washing machine and select the gentle program. If washing by hand, it is best to rub gently, and do not use a washboard to rub;

2. Wool fabrics will shrink and deform in water solutions above 30 degrees. It is advisable to soak them in cold water for a short time. The washing temperature should not exceed 40 degrees. Wash them gently by squeezing them and avoid rubbing them vigorously. Always use a laundry bag when machine washing and select the gentle setting. Dark colors tend to fade easily.

3. Use squeezing to wash, avoid twisting, squeeze to remove water, spread flat to dry in the shade or hang in half to dry in the shade; wet shaping or semi-dry shaping can remove wrinkles, do not expose to the sun;

4. Use softener to maintain soft feel and anti-static properties.

5. Do not use chlorine-containing bleach, but you can use oxygen-containing bleach.
