1. Physical Examination

2. Imaging Examination

Differential Diagnosis

Rib pain: If the thoracic vertebrae corresponding to the ribs are slightly displaced, the costal nerves may be stuck or adhered, causing pain. There is muscle damage at the painful point, causing aseptic inflammation, which stimulates the costal nerves and causes pain.

Mitigation methods

As you exercise, try to take longer and deeper breaths. Short, rapid breaths can cause your muscles to overwork.

Exercising without warming up is most likely to cause side rib pain.

Exercise can be performed 45 to 60 minutes after a meal.

If you plan to exercise, eat smaller amounts and avoid spicy foods.

Make sure you're drinking enough water.

Don't drink alcohol before exercise, as alcohol has a diuretic effect and can cause dehydration.
