The ovulation test paper shows one dark and one shallow

The instinctive characteristic of all living things is reproduction, and this is also true for humans. Women are the receptors for conception, but due to their physical constitution, the chance of conception is limited and is also greatly affected by time. However, during a woman's ovulation period and when the follicles are larger, the chance of conception after sexual intercourse will greatly increase. For convenience, people have come up with products such as ovulation test strips to calculate the best chance of conception. Let's take a look at what the dark and light readings on the ovulation test paper mean.

If the ovulation test paper detects a weak positive result, it means that ovulation is about to occur. You may want to continue testing. If the test result is a strong positive result, it means that a mature egg will be released within two days. During this period, the chances of getting pregnant are very high.

If the ovulation test paper shows a dark top and a light bottom, that means you did not ovulate or the value did not reach a high level. Try again the next day. For general ovulation test strips, the top is the control line. If the bottom line is light, it means that LH has not reached its peak and is still negative. Wait until the lower line is as dark as or darker than the upper line, which means ovulation is about to occur. The accuracy of ovulation detection by ovulation test strips is not high, so it is recommended to monitor ovulation by B-ultrasound.

Ovulation test strips predict ovulation by detecting the peak level of luteinizing hormone (LH). It can be used for qualitative detection of luteinizing hormone (LH) in human urine, so as to determine the time of ovulation and the "safe period" in women's menstrual cycle, so as to achieve the purpose of choosing the best time for conception or using the "safe period" for contraception. It is an in vitro detection and auxiliary diagnosis of women's ovulation period. Ovulation test strips are suitable for about 30% of women and are clinically used only as an auxiliary means of detecting ovulation.

The best time to use ovulation test strips is to start testing on the tenth day of menstruation and test once a day. If you find that the blood pressure is gradually getting stronger, you should increase the frequency of testing. It is best to test every 4 hours. Try to get a strong positive result and seize the moment when the strong positive turns weak. Ovulation usually occurs when the strong positive turns weak. If you find that the pulse is weakening rapidly, it means that the egg is about to hatch, and you need to hurry.

How to use ovulation test strips

1. The normal menstrual cycle is 28 days. The ovulation day is 14 days before the next menstrual period. Generally, the test starts on the 11th day after ovulation and continues for 6 days. However, not every woman ovulates during the middle of her cycle, and there may be no positive result during the 6-day test. Some women may ovulate prematurely due to the influence of environment, emotions and fatigue.

2. Reduce water intake 2 hours before collecting urine because diluted urine samples will hinder the detection of LH peak.

3. The changes in the color of the test line during the test should be observed and recorded. If the test result is negative but the color of the test line begins to decrease, it can also be regarded as the LH peak.

4. The test paper should be used to observe the reaction results within the specified time, and will become invalid after 30 minutes. If there is a negative test result, a light colored band may appear at the location of the test line. Observe again after a period of time.

5. Do not allow the test strip to get wet or touch the reaction membrane before use. Please close the can lid immediately after taking out the test strip from the can. The test strips should be used within the validity period and should not be used after the expiration date.

6. HCG in urine will interfere with the test results of the test paper, so the ovulation test paper is not suitable for pregnant women. If the LH peak appears for several consecutive days, you should first test whether you are pregnant.

7. At present, there are no reports that commonly used drugs (such as cold medicines, antibiotics, painkillers, etc.) affect the accuracy of the test, but if drugs containing HCG are injected or taken, it will have an impact.
