If you have persistent abdominal pain and cannot find the cause, beware of liver cancer

In fact, this is an extremely dangerous manifestation, and there is a high probability that they have liver cancer. Liver cancer is a very harmful disease. Patients often experience digestive system symptoms, such as loss of appetite, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, etc. In addition, digestive function will be disturbed; other symptoms may include pain in the liver area, abdominal distension, upper abdominal lumps, etc.

1. One of the early symptoms of liver cancer: digestive system symptoms

Loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, most of which are undigested food residues; in addition, digestive tract dysfunction, enlarged tumor compression and involvement of the stomach can lead to portal vein hypertension. Damaged liver function and decreased digestion and absorption function can cause patients to experience unexplained weight loss, which is also a common symptom in liver cancer patients.

2. The second early symptom of liver cancer: pain in the liver area

Clinically, the first symptom of liver cancer patients is mostly pain in the liver area, especially in those with a history of hepatitis and cirrhosis. The pain is usually located in the right rib or under the xiphoid process and is usually intermittent or persistent, dull pain or stabbing pain. In the early stages, patients will feel discomfort in the right upper abdomen, and the pain may be mild or severe or relieve on its own in the short term. Most of them are dull pain or bloating. Due to the rapid growth of the tumor, the liver capsule becomes tense and expanded. If the pain is severe and stabbing, radiating to the back, right shoulder and waist, and an acute abdomen suddenly occurs in the liver area, it may be a rupture of liver cancer;

3. The third early symptom of liver cancer: abdominal distension

It is caused by huge tumor, ascites and liver dysfunction; abdominal distension is obvious in the upper abdomen, especially after meals and in the afternoon, and the distension is aggravated.

4. Early symptoms of liver cancer 4: upper abdominal mass

It often manifests as a mass under the xiphoid process of the left liver and a mass under the ribs of the right liver. The lumps are mostly painless, with uneven nodules and a hard texture when touched. Adults over 30 years old usually feel a mass in the right upper abdomen and upper abdomen. The mass is hard in texture, has an uneven surface, and has an obvious tendency to continue to grow.

5. The fifth early symptom of liver cancer: fatigue and weight loss

Oncology experts said: Fatigue and weight loss are caused by the metabolic products of malignant tumors and lack of food intake, and in the late stage it will become cachexia.

6. The sixth early symptom of liver cancer: fever

It may be caused by tumor necrosis, concurrent infection, and tumor metabolic products. Irregular fever: Tumor patients are prone to concurrent infection due to their low resistance. Some liver cancer patients will have unexplained fever, generally around 37.5℃～38℃, sometimes reaching above 39℃. Most of the fever is irregular, without chills. Fever is more common in the afternoon, and sometimes remittent fever can also be seen. Fever is caused by the release of pyrogens into the blood circulation after tumor tissue necrosis.
