What are the methods to wash away mold stains on clothes

The phenomenon of moldy clothes is quite common in our daily life, but we all know that moldy clothes are very ugly, and we want to throw them away but can't bear to do so. So you can learn more about some methods to wash away mold stains on clothes, such as soaking them in rice water overnight, then the cleaning effect will be better, or you can rub the moldy spots with mung bean sprouts and then rinse them with clean water.

1. If there are mold spots on clothes, you can rub the mold spots with a few mung bean sprouts and then wash them with water.

2. If mold spots appear on cotton and linen clothes, or if original colored cloth is moldy, they can be exposed to sunlight; colored cloth can be dried in a ventilated place and then brushed off the mold spots after they are dry. If there are too many mildew spots to be brushed off, the original color cloth should be re-dyed. The colored cloth can be sent to a printing and dyeing shop for sorting or re-dying.

3. If woolen and woolen clothes are moldy, they can generally be treated with cotton cloth, but they should not be exposed directly to sunlight. If the mildew spots are minor, you can brush them off with a soft brush after drying. If the mildew is caused by oil or sweat, you can wipe it repeatedly with cotton dipped in high-quality gasoline.

4. If mildew spots appear on satin clothes, if they are minor, you can wipe them off gently with flannel, a new towel or a soft brush; if the mildew spots are heavier, you can spray dilute ammonia water on the satin clothes and then iron them dry.

5. Mildew spots on synthetic clothing are generally wiped with alcohol, 5% ammonia water or turpentine. For mold stains that are difficult to remove, first wipe them with a 2% soap and alcohol mixture, and then wipe them with medicinal hydrogen peroxide.

6. Soak the moldy clothes in rice washing water overnight to allow the remaining protein to absorb the mold. The next day, the color of the rice water became darker and a lot of the mold stains had been removed. For areas where mildew is still stubborn, you can apply some 5% alcohol solution, or scrub repeatedly with hot soapy water several times, and then just scrub as usual, and the mildew can be completely removed.

7. Use radish peel to rub the moldy area vigorously, and then let it dry naturally.

8. Apply toothpaste to the moldy area and then wash it with water.
