When it comes to vaccination, parents should pay attention to it, because vaccines are indispensable for infants and children in their growth process. It is also an effective way to prevent various disease infections. Some people will have a fever after receiving the pentavalent vaccine. In fact, this problem is common and normal. There is no need to worry too much. Make sure to let your baby rest more after the vaccination. 1. Immunization Procedure: Mainly suitable for infants and children aged 2 months and above. According to the domestic clinical trial results of this product, one of the two recommended immunization schedules can be selected: ① 3 doses of basic immunization at 2, 3, and 4 months of age; 1 dose of booster immunization at 18 to 24 months of age; the interval between doses 1, 2, and 3 should be no less than 28 days, and the 3 doses of basic immunization should be completed within 12 months of age. ② Administer 3 doses of basic immunization at 3, 4, and 5 months of age; administer 1 dose of booster immunization at 18 to 24 months of age; the interval between doses 1, 2, and 3 should be no less than 28 days, and complete the 3 doses of basic immunization within 12 months of age. A single dose of 0.5 mL of this product is administered each time. 2. Inoculation method: Before vaccination, the diphtheria, tetanus, acellular pertussis and inactivated polio vaccine suspension should be injected into the vial containing Hib conjugate vaccine powder for reconstitution (for pre-filled syringes without attached needles, the independent needle must be rotated 1/4 turn and firmly fixed on the syringe), shaken until the powder is completely dissolved (it is normal for the reconstituted suspension to be turbid white), and must be used immediately after reconstitution. 3. Contraindications: ① Those who are known to be allergic to the vaccine and any of its ingredients, including excipients and antibiotics, and have other serious adverse reactions; ② Those with acute diseases, serious chronic diseases, acute attacks of chronic diseases and fever; ③ Those with encephalopathy, uncontrolled epilepsy and other progressive nervous system diseases; ④ Those who have a nervous system reaction after injection of pertussis, diphtheria or tetanus vaccine. 4. Notes: (1) Ensure that the drug is not injected via an intravascular route (the needle must not puncture a blood vessel) or intradermally. (2) It should be used with caution in patients with thrombocytopenia or coagulation disorders (because there may be a risk of bleeding after intramuscular injection). (3) This product may contain trace amounts of glutaraldehyde, neomycin, streptomycin and polymyxin B and should be used with caution in recipients who are allergic to these substances. (4) If a person has had a febrile seizure unrelated to a previous vaccination, this does not constitute a contraindication to vaccination with this product. In this case, it is particularly important to monitor body temperature within 48 hours after vaccination and routinely use antipyretics for 48 hours to reduce fever. |
