What's going on?

From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, heat in the palms and soles of the feet is actually a symptom of kidney yin deficiency. The main symptoms of kidney yin deficiency are spontaneous sweating, dry mouth, intolerance to heat, and back pain. Sugar disease, etc.

In traditional Chinese medicine, it is divided into two types:

Malnutrition and spleen deficiency, fever in the palms and soles

The first reason is the lack of restraint in diet, with one meal full and the next hungry. This will cause gastrointestinal diseases over a long period of time. Over time, the essence of grain cannot be absorbed, forming malnutrition and fever.

Poor condition can lead to malnutrition and fever. Common symptoms in this area include hot palms and soles, sallow and thin face, dry hair, bloated abdomen, poor appetite, frequent ingestion of foreign objects, restless sleep at night, loose stools, undigested food, and yellow and turbid urine like rice water.

Deficiency of blood and yin, and fever in the hands and feet are mostly caused by a weak constitution, or lack of conditioning after a serious illness or fever, resulting in loss of yin and blood, and failure to restore vital energy. This part is often manifested as hot palms and soles, weight loss, mental depression, cough with little sputum, dizziness and tinnitus, dry mouth and tongue, hot flashes in the afternoon, red cheeks and night sweats, frequent urination, and constipation.

Hot palms and soles often occur in infants under 3 years old. This is caused by malnutrition and spleen deficiency. While taking medication, you should also pay attention to supplementing a certain amount of nutritious food, getting more sun exposure, and breathing fresh air to promote physical recovery.
