Lung tumors are mostly malignant tumors, also known as lung cancer, which is a common type of cancer. The harm to patients is relatively large and the treatment is also difficult. In the early stages, patients will have some obvious symptoms, such as long-term low fever, frequent coughing symptoms, and sometimes coughing up blood or bloody sputum. At this time, they will show symptoms such as physical fatigue, weak limbs, and joint pain. It can cause symptoms such as chest tightness and chest pain. If similar symptoms occur, go to the hospital for treatment in time. The earlier the treatment, the better the effect will be. Early symptoms of lung cancer (1) Cough is mostly occasional dry cough There is little or no sputum, and there may be a small amount of white foamy sputum, which often occurs after exertion. The duration of coughing is irregular and has nothing to do with body position. (2) Hemoptysis or bloody sputum It is caused by necrosis and ulceration of cancerous tissue, which leads to rupture of capillaries. The amount of hemoptysis and its duration are related to the degree of vascular damage in the cancer tissue. Most of the symptoms are persistent, with blood streaks or small blood clots in the sputum, and the blood is bright red or dark red. It is generally difficult to control with treatment. The amount of blood in hemoptysis or bloody sputum is generally small. In a few cases, tumors erode large blood vessels and cause massive hemoptysis. (3) Chest pain Most of them appear in the middle and late stages of lung tumors, but if the tumor is located near the pleura, chest pain may appear earlier, manifesting as irregular dull pain or dull pain. When the cancer directly invades the pleura, there may be sharp chest pain, which is aggravated by coughing or breathing. (4) Fever Fever is rarely an early symptom of lung tumors, but when cancerous tissue necrosis occurs, it can cause low- to moderate fever, which is not effective with antibiotics. When central lung cancer with lesions close to the hilum of the lung grows in the bronchus and develops to the point of obstruction or semi-obstruction of the bronchial lumen, it can cause obstructive pneumonia and systemic fever. At this time, the body temperature is generally around 38°C and can be reduced by antibiotic treatment. However, if the obstructive lesions are not removed, pneumonia may recur. (5) Joint swelling and pain It mainly occurs in large joints, mostly ankle joints, followed by wrist joints. It does not migrate and is not related to weather changes. Local swelling may occur, and X-rays show no other abnormalities except occasional thickening of the periostea. Some patients may have clubbing of fingers (toes). Clinically, these symptoms are called pulmonary osteoarthropathy or ectopic growth hormone syndrome. Taking anti-rheumatic analgesics does not improve the overall course of the disease, but once the lesions in the lungs are removed, the symptoms of joint pain will disappear. |
