The so-called tooth marks on the tongue refer to the edge of the tongue where you can see the marks of teeth. This is also called the phenomenon of tooth marks on the surface of the tongue. It seems that the tongue is too enlarged, resulting in pressure and collision from the edge of the teeth. In fact, from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, this has a lot to do with some external factors. For example, spleen and stomach disorders and yang deficiency may cause such symptoms. In addition to the tooth marks on the tongue, it often causes loose and greasy stools and a weak pulse. At this time, you must pay attention to your diet and develop good living habits for health care. It is best to quit smoking and drinking, get enough rest, and try to eat less greasy food and eat more light food that helps improve immunity. Causes 1. Tongue with tooth marks is mostly caused by an enlarged tongue that is compressed by the edge of the teeth. Therefore, tongue with tooth marks is often seen together with an enlarged tongue. The tooth marks are formed by the compression of the teeth. Therefore, tooth marks are often seen together with a swollen and tender tongue. On the one hand, due to the edema of the tongue, it belongs to the deficiency of spleen yang and the excess of dampness. On the other hand, due to the relaxation of the tongue muscles and insufficient opening of the mouth, it belongs to the deficiency of spleen qi.
