What is the reason for the pain of bloody stool

The phenomenon of blood in the stool during bowel movements is quite common in life, and there are many causes of blood in the stool. The first thing to understand is whether the blood in the stool is bright red. If it is bright red, it is mostly related to hemorrhoids and anal fissures. If the blood is black and red, it is mostly some digestive tract diseases. If the discharged blood is bright red and there is no pain, then be alert to rectal blood in the stool, as you may have ulcerative colitis. If there is purulent blood in the stool, it may be some malignant tumors or colon polyps. Therefore, based on the color and shape of the blood in the stool, you can make a preliminary diagnosis.

The main causes of blood in stool are:

1. Anal fissure and blood in stool: The blood is bright red and can be seen when dripping or wiping with toilet paper. Fresh anal fissures will cause severe anal pain after defecation.

2. Hemorrhoids with blood in the stool: The blood in the stool occurs during or after defecation. The blood is bright red and does not mix with the feces.

3. Blood in stool due to gastrointestinal diseases: The stool is tarry or black-red, and the bleeding site is mostly in the upper gastrointestinal tract. If the blood is pure red, it is mostly bleeding due to lower gastrointestinal diseases.

4. Rectal cancer and blood in the stool: The blood in the stool is bright red and is attached to the surface of the stool in drops; in the late stage, it is accompanied by anorectal prolapse and general weight loss, increased frequency of bowel movements, and alternating constipation and diarrhea.

5. Rectal blood in stool and colon polyps: The blood is bright red, painless, and does not mix with stool. Ulcerative colitis and dysentery often have stools mixed with mucus or blood and pus, and are accompanied by symptoms such as lower abdominal pain, fever, and frequent bowel movements.

6. Other diseases that can cause bloody stools: bacillary dysentery, amoebic dysentery, schistosomiasis, ulcerative colitis, intussusception, colon worm, rectum, and colon polyps.

In daily life, we need to pay attention to understanding the occurrence of this disease as early as possible, and pay attention to a reasonable diet. We need to pay attention to conditioning methods and comprehensive health care to avoid causing more impacts. Everyone should also pay attention to their own lifestyle and eat effectively to avoid causing more harm. I hope the patient can recover as soon as possible.
