What are the causes of bleeding from teeth?

Dental health issues are a hot topic in modern life, as the number of modern people suffering from dental diseases is increasing, and it has almost become a popular phenomenon. Dental diseases cause great harm to people's health. Many people suffer from headaches due to dental problems. For example, dental bleeding is the most common phenomenon. Let’s take a look at the reasons for dental bleeding.

Bleeding gums are a common problem for many people. Many people do not pay attention to it, but bleeding gums often warn of many problems, mainly the following five points:

1. Sudden increase in stress: Many people have bleeding gums and bad breath when brushing their teeth due to the sudden increase in work pressure recently. While relieving stress, it is recommended to go to a regular dental hospital for a teeth cleaning (i.e. teeth washing), and then insist on using the correct and effective brushing method.

2. Wrong brushing method: It is very important to choose the right brushing method. The correct method is to combine vertical brushing and horizontal brushing. The key points of the vertical brushing method are: when brushing the lips, cheeks and lingual and palatal surfaces of the back teeth, keep the bristles parallel to the long axis of the teeth, point the bristles toward the gingival margin, and make a 45° angle with the long axis, and rotate the toothbrush.

3. Some systemic diseases: Bleeding gums themselves are only a symptom of many diseases, not a disease. Some systemic diseases can also cause bleeding gums, such as leukemia, hemophilia, pernicious anemia, cirrhosis, hypersplenism, etc.

4. Toothbrush: You should first check whether the bristles of the toothbrush are too hard, and replace them with new ones with soft bristles in time. Generally speaking, bleeding caused by periodontal disease can stop on its own after using a soft-bristled toothbrush.

5. Periodontal disease: Another possible cause of bleeding gums is local oral causes - periodontal disease. Patients often bleed when brushing their teeth or eating. Hemostasis and vitamins are ineffective, and simply cleaning the teeth cannot cure the disease. The most basic and effective treatment for periodontal disease is deep periodontal wound surgery. Under the premise of local anesthesia, the tartar hidden deep in the gums and the diseased tissue caused by long-term inflammation are removed, so that the gums can return to normal and fit tightly with the tooth surface again. In this way, the possibility of recurrence is greatly reduced.
