What are the transmission routes of Hepatitis B

Everyone knows that there is a difference between hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis B virus (HBV). Many patients think that hepatitis B virus (HBV) is not as serious as hepatitis B virus (HBV) and is not contagious. This idea is incorrect. Because some patients with small triple positive test results for hepatitis B virus are positive, this condition is more difficult to treat than big triple positive and is contagious. The following is an introduction to the transmission routes of hepatitis B virus (HBV).

1. Nosocomial infection

During the examination and treatment process in the hospital, the infection is caused by the use of medical devices contaminated with hepatitis B virus without strict disinfection and repeated use, including surgical and dental instruments, blood collection needles, acupuncture needles and endoscopes.

2. Mother-to-child transmission

Mother-to-child transmission includes two aspects: one is vertical transmission, and the other is horizontal transmission, which is mainly horizontal transmission through close contact in the perinatal period and after birth.

3. Transmission through blood transfusion

The transfusion of blood and blood products infected with hepatitis B virus may cause post-transfusion hepatitis B. This is also the transmission route of hepatitis B virus (HBV).

4. Intimate transmission

Including eating together, as long as the skin and mucous membranes are damaged in daily life, there is a possibility of infection. Hepatitis B virus can also be spread by sharing razors, toothbrushes, etc. in daily life.

5. Sexually transmitted diseases

For patients with hepatitis B, the disease can be transmitted through sexual intercourse, which is also a form of body fluid transmission. In addition, it can also be transmitted through kissing, and if the oral mucosa is damaged, this is also possible.
