To relieve your headache, try this!

When you are writing furiously, a sudden headache may interrupt your train of thought. When you are in a meeting, a sudden headache will affect your concentration. Headache is a common problem we encounter, and the causes of headache are varied. As long as we know and master certain little tricks, when we have a headache, we can effectively relieve it by simply doing it for a few minutes.

1. Drink more water

Dehydration is one of the most common causes of headaches. It is recommended to drink more boiled water or fresh juice and avoid caffeinated beverages such as tea and coffee.

2. Head massage

Use your index finger and/or thumb to gently massage the headache area in a circular motion to relax the muscles and improve blood circulation. Press for 7-15 seconds and then release. If necessary, the action can be repeated.

3. Eat at regular times

Unbalanced diet, untimely meals and picky eating can all lead to hypoglycemia, which in turn causes headaches.

4. Don’t use a pillow that’s too high

Lack of sleep or poor quality sleep can cause headaches. Generally speaking, you must ensure 6-8 hours of high-quality sleep every night. But be careful not to use a pillow that is too high when sleeping.

5. Close your eyes and relax

Sit in a dimly lit room with your eyes closed for a few moments to relax and release tension and stress in your back, neck, and shoulders. Avoid hunching your back or straightening your body intentionally.

6. Hot water back

When showering, let the hot water directly hit your head, neck and back to relieve tension in the head and neck muscles and make blood flow smoother.

7. Smile

Laughter has a therapeutic effect on minor headaches. Laughing more can cause your brain to release more euphoric hormones called endorphins, which help relieve pain.

8. Listen to music

Listening to your favorite music can help relieve stress during a headache. In addition, closing your eyes and thinking about happy things has the same effect.

9. Get some fresh air

Deep breathing exercises can help relieve headaches. Breathing deeply in fresh air is a more effective natural remedy for headaches.

10. Go outside for 5 minutes

Get away from the stressful situation and go for a walk, or just take a few minutes to focus on something else that helps you relax. Going outside for 5 minutes is a quick and easy home remedy for reducing stress and relieving headaches.
