The function of molars

The function of molars

A normal person's mouth should have 28 to 32 teeth. Each tooth plays a different role, and in medicine, different dental parts of the human body are divided into different species. The molars are what we often call the large teeth in daily life. Compared with other teeth, the role of molars is very obvious. The following article will explain in detail the role of molars in the oral cavity.

Premolars are located at the end of the upper and lower teeth, that is, the teeth located behind the canines and in front of the molars. There are 10 premolars in total. A person has two sets of teeth in his life, one set of deciduous teeth and one set of permanent teeth. Molars do not replace teeth, and premolars do not grow during the period of deciduous teeth, so premolars are permanent teeth. Human teeth can be divided into incisors, canines and molars according to their shapes. They all have different functions. Because the top of the premolars is not pointed but has various ridges, they are very suitable for grinding food.

Premolars are helpful in chewing food, helping with pronunciation, and keeping the face and lips and cheeks plump. When people talk or smile, if their teeth are uneven and yellow, their face will look untidy. Diseased teeth can also cause a series of diseases, so dental health is very important.

The best way to protect our premolars is to pay attention to cleaning. Brushing teeth can clean the tooth surface and stimulate blood circulation in the gum tissue, making the periodontal tissue healthy. So I didn't pay attention to the key points of brushing my teeth. Normally, when brushing my teeth, I would point the tip of the toothbrush bristles toward the crown, and then gently brush along the surface of the teeth toward the gums, just like the friction action on the teeth when we chew fibrous food. If you want to effectively remove plaque, massage the gums, avoid wedge-shaped defects in the cervical region and gum atrophy, you can make the toothbrush bristles penetrate deep into the gingival sulcus and interproximal areas and vibrate back and forth.

Some small folk remedies are also very helpful for dental health, such as: orange peel powder for cleaning teeth, ginger for relieving toothache and eating chewy food. A simple way to remove tartar is to brush your teeth with brown sugar, alum and cuttlefish bones. Keeping your teeth clean can prevent tartar from forming, so there is no need to ask the dentist to scrape them off with instruments. This method does not damage the teeth and has a good effect.

Pay attention to dental care, eat more foods rich in calcium, eat more vegetables that promote chewing, avoid getting angry and causing periodontal inflammation, adjust your mood and avoid excessive stress, depression, anxiety and other emotions, and avoid smoking. Teeth have a great influence on the beauty of your face. Neat and white teeth can show a person's health and beauty. We all should pay attention to the health and beauty of our teeth.
