How to clean garnet

Garnet needs to be cleaned regularly when worn. Only regular cleaning can ensure health and avoid other problems. The cleaning method is very simple. It is not enough to just rinse it with ordinary water. First, you can expose it to sunlight, or you can use aromatherapy purification and sea salt cleaning. These are relatively common cleaning methods and will not damage the garnet.

(1) Sunlight exposure method: Place the crystal in the sun for several hours to let the most powerful force of nature purify your crystal. But please remember that this method is not suitable for colored gemstones such as amethyst, citrine or rose quartz, because these crystals contain Fe (iron), Cu (copper) and other elements. Long-term exposure to the sun will cause oxidation or high temperature will easily change the molecular structure of the crystal and cause fading.

(2) Aromatherapy purification method: Place the crystal next to the aromatherapy burner and light the aromatherapy essential oil (remember to use pure essential oil, do not use essential oil with added chemicals) to achieve a purification effect.

(3) Sea salt purification method: Place the crystal in a container filled with sea salt water. The ocean purification effect emitted by the unprocessed coarse salt (pure natural sea salt) can effectively purify the crystal. There is no limit to the time. Most of the time, one night or 24 hours is enough. After soaking, rinse the crystal and place it in the sun or shade to let it dry naturally. However, this method cannot be applied to crystals with other decorations, such as pendants covered with K gold or silver, or rope accessories with Chinese knots, because the accessories will be corroded, and it will be tragic if they fall off while being worn on the body. Applicable to black obsidian, black hair crystal and other negative absorption crystals. Not applicable to white crystal and rose crystal, which will eliminate the positive things of the crystal at the same time.
