Gastroenteritis Cefprozil Dispersible Tablets

Gastroenteritis Cefprozil Dispersible Tablets

Gastroenteritis is a stomach disease, which is usually caused by irregular diet and excessive consumption of unhealthy food. Common symptoms are vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, etc. Gastroenteritis can make people very uncomfortable, with general weakness, dizziness, and extreme discomfort. There are too many things to pay attention to when suffering from gastroenteritis, which also causes trouble for patients. So, can cefoperazone dispersible tablets be taken for gastroenteritis?

If you have gastroenteritis, you don't need to take ceftriaxone dispersible tablets. You can take norfloxacin, lactobacillus tablets or pepsin and other drugs for treatment. Maintain a regular diet, avoid eating raw, cold, spicy and irritating foods, and try to eat a light diet.

The adverse reactions of ceftriaxone are similar to those of other oral cephalosporins, mainly gastrointestinal reactions, including diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. Allergic reactions may also occur, most commonly rash and urticaria. Allergic reactions are more common in children than in adults, and usually occur within a few days after starting treatment and disappear within a few days after stopping the medication.

Other adverse reactions are less common, including: increased AST (aspartate aminotransferase) and ALT (alanine aminotransferase) in the hepatobiliary system. Elevated alkaline phosphatase and bilirubin are occasionally seen. Cholestatic jaundice is rare.

Central nervous system: dizziness, hyperactivity, headache, mental tension, insomnia. Occasionally, drowsiness may occur. All these reactions are reversible.

Blood system: leukopenia, eosinophilia.

Kidney: increased blood urea nitrogen and blood creatinine.

Others: diaper dermatitis-like rash and superinfection, genital pruritus and vaginitis.

The following adverse events, regardless of whether they have a clear causal relationship with cefprozil, are rare in post-marketing surveillance. These include allergy, angioedema, colitis (including pseudomembranous colitis), erythema multiforme, fever, serum sickness-like reactions, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and thrombocytopenia.
