Many people are very familiar with bird's nest, because everyone knows that bird's nest is a nutritious substance. It also contains relatively high nutritional value, but some people think that eating bird's nest regularly will not have much effect. This needs to be judged based on people's specific circumstances. Because everyone's physique is different, the way they absorb nutrients is also different. So is eating bird’s nest useful?

First of all, the nutrients in bird's nests are all natural. Compared with medicines and cosmetics, the effects are relatively slow, but the benefits to the human body are also subtle, so the longer you keep eating it, the more obvious the effect will be. Secondly, because everyone has different reasons and needs for eating bird’s nests, the speed at which the effects appear may vary slightly.

Let’s look at the length of time to consume bird’s nest from different levels:

1. Skin: more than 3 months

The most direct effect of eating bird's nest is better skin, and of course this is also the fastest. Bird's nest has the effect of moistening the lungs. There is a saying in Traditional Chinese Medicine that "the lungs govern the skin and hair", so moistening the lungs is extremely good for the skin. In addition, the general "metabolic cycle" of human skin is about 4 to 6 months, and the bird's nest contains cell division hormones and epidermal growth factor (EGF), which can promote the division and regeneration of epidermal cells, and will appropriately speed up the renewal rate of skin cells. Therefore, if you insist on eating bird's nests for about 3 months, you will slowly see the effects on the skin. For example, the skin will be tighter and more hydrated, there will be fewer acne, and acne marks and scars will be significantly lighter... In fact, I have always had acne-prone skin and I get acne easily, but rarely leave obvious acne marks. The bird's nest has contributed greatly to this.

2. Pregnant women: more than one year

Many pregnant women choose to take bird’s nest supplements during pregnancy, but I recommend starting to eat it when you are preparing for pregnancy. Second, you are well-nourished and look good, but you won’t gain weight. Third, you don’t have stretch marks. Fourth, your baby has very good and white skin. Fifth, it becomes very easy to lose weight in the waist and abdomen after childbirth. Of course, bird's nest is not a panacea. It doesn't mean that your baby will have fair skin and will not have stretch marks after eating bird's nest. But under the same conditions, it will greatly increase the probability. In addition, many of our customers have told me that babies who eat bird's nest can lift their heads and turn over soon after birth, and rarely have jaundice.

3. Physical condition: varies from person to person, suitable for long-term consumption

"Bencao Congxin" records: "(Bird's nest) is a holy medicine for regulating deficiency and tuberculosis". It has the effects of nourishing yin and moistening dryness, replenishing the lungs and nourishing yin, replenishing qi and regulating deficiency. Eating bird's nest for a long time can also improve physical fitness. This effect varies from person to person and is determined by many factors such as digestion and absorption. Among them, the effects on nourishing complexion, improving sleep, and moisturizing the intestines will be faster, while for "long-term battles" such as clearing the lungs of smokers, protecting the liver and stomach, and regulating women's menstruation, the effects will be slower. But some friends around me also told me quietly that after eating bird's nest for five or six months, their periods have indeed become much more peaceful. My mother used to have a cough, a dry cough in the middle of the night, which made her sleep poorly the whole night. I believe many older people have this experience. After I gave her bird's nest, the dry cough at night disappeared.

In addition to "how long to eat", it is also important to know "how much to eat". If you only eat it 2 to 3 times a month, the effect will not be reflected. Therefore, according to the needs of different groups of people, it can be roughly divided into the following three consumption amounts. You can choose how much bird's nest to eat according to your own situation.

1. Economical.

2 to 3 times a week, 3 to 5 grams each time. Suitable for: people with good physique and skin, daily maintenance, consolidation of beauty, improvement of mental state, nourishing the stomach and clearing the eyes.

2. Conventional type.

Take 3-5 grams once a day. Suitable for most people: those preparing for pregnancy, those who want to improve their skin quickly, those who work overtime and stay up late, those who are exposed to tobacco, alcohol and makeup for a long time, those who are weak, those who are malnourished, etc.

3. Nutritionally enhanced type.

Take 3 to 5 grams twice a day to quickly replenish nutrition, regulate the body and restore vitality. Suitable for: pregnant women and postpartum recovery, postoperative people, women with irregular menstruation, and middle-aged and elderly people.

Finally, I have to say that there are people who are not suitable for eating bird's nest. People who are allergic to protein or have advanced cancer are not suitable for eating bird's nest. Generally speaking, bird's nest can be eaten while taking Chinese and Western medicines, as long as there is a gap of more than half an hour between them.
