Take a clean, oil-free pot, fill it half with pure water, and put the washed sea cucumber in. Bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer for 20 minutes over low heat. Turn off the heat and let it cool naturally. (If there are still hard sea cucumbers, keep them in the pot and cook them again with new purified water until they are all softened.) 4. Put the cooked sea cucumber into a clean, oil-free container, add pure water to cover the sea cucumber, then put it in the refrigerator and soak it for 48-72 hours.
