Why do I often feel sore and weak all over?

Many people do not understand what is going on when they feel aches and weakness all over their body. In fact, keeping the head and neck in one posture for a long time, causing strain or trauma to the head and neck, can cause these adverse symptoms of aches and weakness all over the body.

1. Strain: Keeping the head and neck in a single posture for a long time, such as working with the head down for a long time, can easily lead to cervical spondylosis. Most cervical spondylosis patients under the age of 30 are engaged in jobs that require them to lower their heads.

2. Head and neck trauma: 50% of myeloid cervical spondylosis is related to neck trauma. Some patients have cervical spinal canal in a critical state of stenosis due to cervical bone hyperplasia, cervical disc bulging, and soft tissue lesions within the spinal canal. Neck trauma often induces symptoms.

3. Bad posture: such as lying on the bed watching TV, reading, using a high pillow, sleeping in a sitting position, etc.; sleeping in a sleeper car, the muscles are poorly protected when sleeping, and neck injuries are easy to occur when braking.

4. Chronic infection: mainly pharyngitis, followed by caries, periodontitis, otitis media, etc. Inflammation in these areas stimulates the soft tissues of the neck or causes lesions of the soft tissues of the cervical region by enriching the lymphatic system. Some people believe that chronic throat infection is an important cause of cervical spondylosis, which may interact with chronic soft tissue strain and inflammation and aggravate the condition.

5. Wind, cold and dampness factors: Wind, cold and dampness factors in the external environment can reduce the body's tolerance to pain, cause muscle spasms, small blood vessel contraction, slowed lymphatic return, and soft tissue blood circulation disorders, followed by aseptic inflammation. Therefore, wind, cold and dampness factors are not only triggers, but can also serve as causes of disease and cause symptoms.

6. Hypoplasia of the cervical vertebra structure: Congenitally small spinal canal and cervical vertebra degeneration are the basis for the onset of some cervical spondylosis. According to foreign statistics, 25% of people aged 40-50 have degeneration, and 85.5% of people aged 55 and above have degeneration. The incidence of cervical spondylosis in people with narrow cervical central spinal canal and nerve root canal is 1 times higher than that in normal people.
