Are crabs from rivers generally edible?

Many naughty children like to catch crabs in the river and take them home to eat, but not all crabs are edible. Some crabs contain toxins that may harm human health, so crabs of unknown origin caught in the river should not be eaten indiscriminately. Moreover, crabs caught in the river usually have many parasites, which can easily cause diarrhea after eating them. So, can crabs caught in the river be eaten?

The crabs in the river are edible.

Material

1000g crab, 15g rice wine, 30g minced ginger, 20g soy sauce, 15g sesame oil, 50g balsamic vinegar, a little sugar and MSG

practice

1. Put the minced ginger in a small bowl, add the pre-cooked soy sauce, sugar, MSG, rice wine and sesame oil, and stir together to make a sauce.

2. Take another small bowl and add appropriate amount of vinegar for later use.

3. Wash the crab with clean water (pay special attention to brushing the gaps between its shell and legs and claws, as well as the fluff on its claws), put it in a large bowl in a steamer, turn on high heat, and steam for 15-20 minutes, until the crab shell turns from blue to bright red and the crab meat is cooked, then take it out.

4. Serve with dressing and vinegar.

Mealworms are the larvae of the Tenebrionidae family, an ideal feed for pets and are rich in nutrients. If your pet crab does not eat other food, mealworms are the best choice.

There are many ignorant children who think that crabs eat things when they clamp them. In fact, this is not the case. The crab's claws are used to defend against enemies, not the mouth. The real mouth is the jaws.

Female crabs generally have a large appetite, so as long as they can hold something in their mouth, they will basically eat it. To get her to grab something, first shake it in front of her claws. If she is very hungry, she will grab the food directly.

Mealworms are rich in protein and are the best food for crabs to supplement their nutrition. They will never starve.

Feeding method: 1. Shake the mealworms in front of the crab, as mentioned above.

2. Place the worm on the crab's back shell and let it grab it by itself.

3. Put the worms in the crab container. When the crabs are hungry, they will catch and eat them themselves.

Note: Please do not feed too much, which may cause the pet crab to die. Although wild crabs like to eat carrion, it is best not to try this on pet crabs. For example, feeding them rotten and smelly insects may harm their health. Article 3 will not harm crabs.
