I'm particularly hungry at night

Some people feel particularly hungry at night. In fact, all life activities of human beings require energy support, so we should eat more food to ensure that we are well-nourished. However, we feel particularly hungry before going to bed at night because we may have eaten dinner earlier and our stomach and intestines have better digestive function. So what should we do if we are particularly hungry at night?

The energy for human physiological activities comes directly from blood sugar, which comes from nutrients obtained from food by digestive organs such as the small intestine. The reason why people are hungry is that the blood sugar concentration decreases, which leads to normal physiological reactions. Food should be replenished (that is, eating) at this time. If food is not replenished immediately at this time, after a little longer time, the physiological reaction will prompt the decomposition of glycogen (derived from the decomposition of cellular fat, the process is completed by bile). At this time, people will feel that they have passed the hunger mark, but they are no longer hungry. The most direct reason for being hungry is low blood sugar concentration, but there may be many reasons.

The first one: there is something wrong with the blood. Some people's blood sugar concentration is always lower than normal due to characteristic (genetic) reasons. As a result, they are always hungry and do not feel comfortable even if they eat until they are full. They are weaker and have weak immunity. They may get sick frequently and have no energy. (Go for a blood test)

The second type is poor digestive tract function. If the digestive organs such as the small intestine and stomach cannot work properly, food cannot be completely converted into the nutrients needed by the body, resulting in low blood sugar concentrations. It is easy to get hungry and feel hungry shortly after eating. (Go for a gastrointestinal examination, including the mouth, esophagus, gallbladder, etc.)

The third type: It may also be caused by excessive secretion of thyroid hormones, which will cause the patient to be very thin and have a bad temper (commonly known as hyperthyroidism, it is recommended to go to the hospital to test the thyroid gland).

The fourth type: If you cannot stand being hungry, it is "annoying hunger", which may be caused by abnormal liver function. When the blood sugar concentration decreases, the liver cannot make the correct physiological response to break down glycogen to maintain normal activity energy, so it continues to consume the little glycogen in the blood, causing increasingly severe physiological reactions. (Hungry, annoyingly hungry). [It is recommended to check the liver and gallbladder function. The gallbladder plays a very important role. Even if the liver function is normal, if the gallbladder function is abnormal, fat cannot be converted into energy substances normally, which will lead to the same consequences, but people will gain weight and cannot eat greasy food.]

The fifth type: It may be a kidney problem. Nutrients must be filtered by the kidneys. If there is a problem with the kidneys, nutrients cannot enter the blood circulation normally. This causes the body to be in a state of nutritional deficiency, which manifests itself as hunger. (It is recommended to check kidney function, renal tubules and filters, which may lead to diabetes. The person will be thinner, have poor skin, rashes, etc., and the urine color is abnormal) The sixth type: It may be a combination of the above-mentioned reasons. Humans are very sophisticated and advanced instruments. Often when the damage is relatively minor, they can rely on their own physiological reactions to adjust and give prompts. So when you feel very uncomfortable, your body functions have already declined to a considerable extent, so sometimes the causes of a disease are often a mixture of several factors.
