How to identify nail melanoma

How to identify nail melanoma

Many people do not know about nail melanoma, but in fact, nail melanoma is quite scary and can pose a great danger to our bodies. Therefore, we need to use some symptoms to determine whether it is nail melanoma and detect and treat it in time.

1. Melanoma is so scary, how should we prevent it? There are so many moles on my body, which one will turn malignant? Wang Fei pointed out that it is a low probability event for a mole to turn into melanoma. There is no need to worry about the moles on your body all day long. There are four ways to help you locate suspicious objects.

2. Look at the location: Generally speaking, moles in friction areas such as the soles of the feet, elbows, and scalp are more likely to become malignant. Friction will cause the mole cells to proliferate actively, causing atypical and malignant changes. Clinically, it has also been found that moles on the soles of Chinese people's feet are most likely to become malignant.

3. Look at the depth: Whether it is cancerous has nothing to do with the size of the mole, but it is related to the location of the mole cells. According to the depth of the skin where the nevus cells are located, nevus are divided into intradermal nevus, junctional nevus, and compound nevus. Relatively speaking, junctional nevus (located at the junction of the epidermis and dermis) are more likely to become cancerous.

4. Look at the color: There are many colors of moles, in addition to black, there are also red, blue, etc. Blue moles are relatively more likely to become cancerous, so you should pay close attention to them.

5. Observe changes: In addition, the most important identification method is to pay attention to the changes in the shape of the mole. Before a mole becomes malignant, it will send out the following signals: asymmetrical shape; irregular edges, not the common round type; color changes, the color becomes darker or discolored (from black to black and skin color); the diameter is greater than 6 mm.
