Will eating Korean ginseng cause infertility?

Korean ginseng is actually a tonic health-care medicine, but taking Korean ginseng may cause some side effects, such as headache, diarrhea, or loss of appetite, dry throat and other problems, but it will not affect conception.

1. Side effects of Korean ginseng

Korean ginseng is a type of ginseng. my country has used ginseng as medicine since ancient times. Many medical books, including "Compendium of Materia Medica", have recorded and used Korean ginseng, and classified it as a "top-grade" medicinal material. That is to say, it not only has health-care effects, but is also completely non-toxic and suitable for long-term use. Long-term medical experience has also found that only a very small number of people who are very prone to allergies may experience minor problems such as headaches and diarrhea after taking Korean ginseng, but it will not lead to infertility.

2. Dos and Don’ts of Korean Ginseng

Ancient medical experience and current clinical experience show that Korean ginseng only conflicts with a few foods and medicines, such as radish, tea, aconite, cardiac glycosides in Western medicine, and drugs such as propantheline and nandrolone phenylpropionate. It is a relatively mild tonic. The adverse reactions produced when a conflict occurs are generally to reduce the efficacy of ginseng, causing dry throat, decreased appetite, etc. Only when it is taken together with cardiac glycosides may it cause cardiac glycoside poisoning. Infertility is not among the various symptoms of known drug conflicts.

3. Causes of infertility

Modern medical research has found that the main causes of female infertility are ovulation disorders, fallopian tube abnormalities, endometriosis, etc. The factors that hinder pregnancy are often lesions or abnormalities in the three parts of the uterus, cervix, and fallopian tubes. There is also a type of immune infertility, which refers to infertility caused by women's own antibodies. None of the known causes of infertility are caused by taking Korean ginseng.

Therefore, based on the analysis of the above three aspects, we can conclude that ordinary people taking genuine Korean ginseng will not cause infertility.
