How to take care of anal bleeding during exercise

If anal bleeding occurs during exercise, you need to pay attention to the causes so that you can provide scientific and effective care. For example, patients with severe anorectal diseases may show these symptoms when the disease occurs, so you should pay attention to developing good bowel habits and avoid greasy, spicy and rough foods.

Many patients with severe anorectal diseases have symptoms of bloody stools in the early stages of the disease. However, the disease worsens only because they do not pay attention to it and do not go to a regular hospital for scientific examinations. Even some systemic diseases such as leukemia and renal failure may cause bloody stools. The direct consequence of ignoring blood in the stool is that many diseases lose the best time for treatment.

It is necessary to detect it in time, treat it as soon as possible, and take preventive measures. The prevention methods of blood in the stool are:

(1) Develop the habit of regular bowel movements, preferably loose and mushy stools.

(2) Reduce postures that increase abdominal pressure, such as squatting and holding your breath, and avoid sitting, standing, walking for long periods of time and overwork.

(3) Avoid spicy, hot, greasy, rough, and residue-rich foods, and avoid smoking, drinking alcohol, and drinking coffee.

(4) Eat more foods that have the effects of clearing intestinal heat, moisturizing the mucous membrane, promoting bowel movements and stopping bleeding, such as raw pear juice, lotus root juice, water chestnut juice, reed root juice, celery juice, carrot, white radish (cooked), bitter melon, eggplant, cucumber, spinach, day lily, cabbage, egg yolk, apple, fig, banana, black sesame, walnut meat, white wood, etc.

(5) Be cheerful and don’t get angry. A bad mood, irritability or depression can cause the intestinal mucosa to contract and blood circulation to be impeded.

(6) Reduce sexual intercourse. Frequent sexual intercourse can cause congestion of the intestinal mucosa and aggravate bleeding.

Blood in the stool may be a precursor to hemorrhoids. If you have blood in the stool, you should seek timely treatment and not delay it. It is particularly noteworthy that people do not care when they find that the shape and frequency of their stools have changed, or they think they have hemorrhoids when they find blood in their stools. In fact, bleeding and pain are not unique to hemorrhoids. Hemorrhagic proctitis, Crohn's disease, and even benign and malignant tumors of the anal canal and rectal cancer can all manifest as blood in the stool.
