How to treat cerebral infarction caused by atrial fibrillation, four treatment methods

Atrial fibrillation not only makes the heart beat faster than a normal person's heart, but also makes the heart beat at different frequencies, sometimes fast and sometimes slow. Atrial fibrillation can also cause some diseases in the body, especially cerebral infarction, which makes friends with atrial fibrillation very worried. So how does atrial fibrillation cause cerebral infarction and how to treat it?

Atrial fibrillation can easily cause blood clots to form in the left atrium. We require high-risk groups to take warfarin, even in combination with aspirin.

Once cerebral infarction has occurred, targeted treatment is required. The drugs used include low molecular weight heparin, warfarin, ozagrel, gangliosides, citicoline, etc. Pneumonia is prone to occur after cerebral infarction, so sufficient amounts of antibiotics should be used. People usually have high blood pressure after a cerebral infarction, but if it is not very high, there is no need to deliberately lower the blood pressure.

1. TIA is a precursor to cerebral infarction. When TIA occurs, it should be treated actively to reduce the possibility of cerebral infarction.

2. Atrial fibrillation is the main cause of cerebral embolism; that is, patients with atrial fibrillation are prone to blood clots, which reach the cerebral blood vessels through the blood circulation and cause embolism. However, the CT scan of this patient showed cerebral infarction and carotid atherosclerosis, which was ischemia caused by long-term vascular stenosis. The two are different.

3. If radiofrequency ablation is not used for the treatment of atrial fibrillation, the current main requirement is to control the ventricular rate and anticoagulate. INR should be monitored during warfarin use. It is recommended to perform Holter (dynamic electrocardiogram) and echocardiography to understand the heart function and heart rate. If the patient's heart function is normal and the heart rate is not low (daytime heart rate is greater than 55 beats/min and there is no malignant arrhythmia), it is recommended not to use digoxin and to control the heart rate with bisoprolol.

4. It is recommended to combine traditional Chinese and Western medicine for treatment.
