Daily care for exhaust pipe burns (1) Ensure adequate sleep, pay attention to the prevention of pressure sores, and massage frequently pressurized areas with 50% ethanol daily. To prevent cross infection, clean the floor and furniture with disinfectant. (2) Guidance on postural care after burns. In case of burns on the front chest or face, the patient should lie in supine position, or semi-recumbent position if the condition permits; in case of burns on the back and buttocks, the patient should lie in prone position; in case of burns on the perineum, the legs should be spread apart and abducted; in case of circular burns on the limbs, the distal end should be elevated; in case of circular burns on the trunk, the patient should be turned over once every 36 hours. (3) Dietary care: It is advisable to eat high-protein, high-calorie, and high-vitamin foods. In the early stage of scald, such as patients with heat damage to body fluid, scald drinks can be given, 100-200 ml each time, 56 times a day. You can also use fresh reed root, fresh orchid root, and honeysuckle to boil water instead of tea; nasogastric feeding nutrition includes clear liquid food, mixed milk, and elemental diet. Start with 200-400ml of clear liquid food per day, and then gradually increase the amount. For patients with severe toxic heat, the diet should be light, with small meals and frequent meals. You can choose foods such as milk, eggs, tofu, and lean meat; for patients with evil retreat and body deficiency, you should take care of their eating habits, diversify their diet, and give them a high-calorie, high-vitamin, and high-protein diet. |
