The difference between kelp and kombu is actually like this

Kelp is a common algae food in daily life. It has high nutritional value and is therefore loved by people. In Japan, kelp is collectively called kombu, but are kelp and kombu the same food? Most people don't know. In fact, kelp and kombu belong to the same Laminariales order, but they are not the same food. Let us take a closer look at the differences between kelp and kombu!

In botany, kelp belongs to the Laminariaceae; kombu belongs to the Pterygaceae. The Laminariaceae and Pterygium family belong to the same Laminariales order.

Kelp and kelp also have different ingredients.

The content of small molecule polysaccharides in kelp is higher. Moreover, the sea where konbu grows is cleaner than the sea where kelp grows. Therefore, many people believe that "konbu" is purer than "kelp".

In fact, the current public media no longer strictly distinguishes between "konbu and kelp", so "konbu" has gradually become equivalent to "kelp".

In academic research, researchers no longer distinguish between the two. The "laminarin" in the academic report actually refers to "kelp polysaccharide"; laminarin sulfate is also called kelp polysaccharide sulfate.

From this perspective, "Kelp Compound Tablets" can also be called "Kelp Compound Tablets".

However, what needs to be emphasized here is that we must not ignore the health value of kelp (or kelp) just because "kelp is kelp" or "kelp is too common". Since people have now completely gotten rid of the "goiter neck disease", kelp has gradually disappeared from the public eye. The content of iodine in kelp (konbu) is very rich and can help people get rid of "goat neck disease" without any purification. If the special ingredients in kelp are highly purified, their value can be imagined.

To sum up, kelp and kombu are basically the same. But the value they contain cannot be underestimated.
