What are the symptoms of high purine and how to treat it

Many people suffer from uricemia, arthritis, etc., and often suffer from the pain of the disease and use drugs to treat it. In fact, these symptoms are likely caused by high purine levels. So people should know what are the symptoms of high purine levels? If you notice any of these symptoms, seek treatment immediately.

Hyperuricemia is a metabolic disease caused by purine metabolism disorder in the human body, which leads to an increase of uric acid in the blood.

1. Asymptomatic hyperuricemia: Blood tests may reveal an increased blood uric acid concentration, but no clinical symptoms such as arthritis or kidney stones appear.

2. Acute hyperuricemia arthritis: Local joint injury, overeating and drinking, excessive fatigue, dampness and cold, drug infection, etc. can all induce acute attacks.

Daily care for high uric acid is as follows

1. Do appropriate aerobic exercise and avoid strenuous exercise to prevent joint overstrain. It is best to choose aerobic exercises such as swimming and Tai Chi to lose weight.

2. Drink more boiled water or light tea, and the daily urine volume should be controlled at around 2000ml. Do not drink strong tea, coffee, sweet drinks, etc.

3. Eat more vegetarian food, avoid spinach, and eat less or no beans. Eating more fruits can make the body alkaline.

4. Eat less meat, seafood and animal offal, and strictly avoid hot pot.

5. Chitosan can effectively absorb and neutralize uric acid, accelerate the metabolism of uric acid, reduce the uric acid content in the blood, and can significantly improve gout. The higher the deacetylation degree of chitosan, the stronger its biological activity and the better its therapeutic effect.

Uric acid is a product of purine metabolism in the human body. 80% of it comes from the human body, also known as endogenous uric acid, and 20% comes from food intake, also known as exogenous uric acid. Uric acid is excreted from the body through the kidneys and digestive tract without being broken down.

Under normal circumstances, there are about 1000~1200 mg of uric acid in the human body. About 600 mg of uric acid is formed and about 600 mg of uric acid is excreted every day. In this way, uric acid in the body is in a dynamic equilibrium. When this balance is disrupted for some reason, the uric acid level in the blood will increase, leading to hyperuricemia.

When the serum uric acid level is greater than 416umol/L (7.0mg/dl), it is called hyperuricemia. Consuming high-purine foods, drinking alcohol, and strenuous exercise can all cause a transient increase in serum uric acid levels.
