How to make grass jelly milk tea, two common methods

Many young people like to drink milk tea, especially in winter, a cup of milk tea will make them feel warmer. There are many types of milk tea, and grass jelly milk tea is very popular. You can learn the two common methods introduced today and drink your own milk tea.

Method 1:

Recipe introduction: Summer is here, milk tea and other things are all the rage, it’s better to make it at home than to buy it outside, it’s nutritious and healthy~

Material

Milk tea: tea bags (preferably tea bags with a stronger flavor, black tea or green tea is fine, depending on your preference), milk, honey

Burnt grass jelly: grass jelly (you can buy it outside or buy grass jelly powder and make it yourself), fried peanuts, red beans (before making, soak the red beans for a day, leave a little water, and steam them), coconut flakes (you can use other substitutes)

practice

1. Make milk tea: Put the tea bag in a cup and pour in hot water, not too much, just enough to release the flavor.

2. Pour milk into the tea, and you can decide how much milk to add (if you like a stronger milk flavor, pour more; if you like a stronger tea flavor, pour more hot water)

3. Add appropriate amount of honey according to personal taste.

4. Making grass jelly: It’s very simple, just pour everything into milk tea.

5. Put it in the refrigerator for a better taste.

Method 2: Materials

100g dried grass jelly, 2500cc water, appropriate amount of cornstarch water, 80g white sugar

How to make grass jelly

1. Wash and drain the dried grass jelly and set aside.

2. Bring the water to a boil, add in the ingredients from step 1 and stir until the dried grass jelly is completely immersed in the boiling water. Turn to low heat and continue to simmer for 4 hours to allow the dried grass jelly to release its gelatin.

3. Filter the soup from step 2 into another pot and continue to boil it over low heat. The grass jelly juice is still watery at this time. Slowly add appropriate amount of cornstarch water to thicken it into a thin consistency, and add sugar to taste.

4. Keep the heat on the lowest setting to maintain the temperature so that the grass jelly liquid does not solidify.
