How to wash oil stains off clothes

If there are oil stains on your clothes, take them off quickly, soak them in hot water, and add detergent, so that the oil stains will disappear quickly. If the oil stain on the clothes is not discovered when it first gets on, it will form some spots as the oil stain gradually dries. This type of oil stain is difficult to clean and can be sent to a dry cleaner for cleaning. Here we will introduce how to clean oil stains on clothes.

Pour some lestoil. Although it may seem counterintuitive, it can add fuel to the fire when it comes to problem solving. In this case, use oil to remove the oil. Pour some lestoil (available at most hardware stores) on it and leave it on for 20-30 minutes. Like the other methods, follow up with your normal laundry routine and you’ll be amazed at how much the grease is gone. Sprinkle with artificial sweetener. If you get some greasy food splashed on your clothes while eating out, don't be afraid. Get a bag of artificial sweetener and sprinkle it directly on the oil stain. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes and then brush off the sweetener. Then go home and put your clothes in the washing machine using regular laundry detergent to wash the artificial sweeteners out of your clothes.

Use chalk to paint over the oil stain. Ordinary white chalk produces a fine powder that can penetrate between the fibers of clothing and draw the oil out of the fibers. Use a piece of white chalk to heavily smear over the oil stain, or sprinkle some white chalk dust on if you have it. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes, then brush off the chalk dust and wash the garment as normal. Use baking soda and dishwashing detergent. The combination of super absorbent powder and grease-killing dishwashing detergent means that even stubborn grease stains have nowhere to escape! First pour some fresh oil on the original oil stain to "revive" it. Then pour some baking soda on it and scrub the area with a toothbrush. Finally, pour some degreasing dishwashing detergent and scrub it. Wash the clothes as usual and you will be surprised to find that the oil stains are gone.

Of course, the so-called oil stains are not limited to animal fats. Sometimes they can also be some oily paints. This kind of oil stains are not particularly difficult to clean. For example, after oily paint is stained on clothes, it can be cleaned with gasoline or laundry detergent. Of course, you can also grab a handful of mud and sand and wipe it repeatedly on the surface of the work clothes, which can also clean it.
