Can frog parasites be boiled to death?

Nowadays, frogs are a kind of food that is generally accepted by everyone, and even many places specialize in raising frogs. Generally speaking, frogs kept in captivity have fewer parasites in their bodies, while frogs grown in the wild have many parasites in their bodies. If food is not cooked thoroughly during the cooking process, parasites can easily enter the body. So, can frog parasites be killed by boiling? Yes, you can.

If the parasites in the frog's body parasitize in the human brain, it will be very dangerous, and if they parasitize in the muscles, it will cause muscle pain. There are reports that if the larvae parasitize in the eyes, severe cases can cause blindness; if they parasitize in the brain, they can cause paralysis. Medical experts have discovered that the number of frogs harboring dangerous parasites has increased sixfold compared to 10 years ago.

Classification by parasitic method:

1. An obligatory parasite is one that is parasitic throughout its life cycle and in all stages, such as filariasis; or one that must be parasitic at a certain stage in its life cycle, such as hookworms, whose larvae live freely in the soil, but after developing into filariform larvae, they must invade the host's body to live a parasitic life in order to continue developing into adults.

2. Facultative parasites can live both free and parasitic lives. For example, Strongyloides stercoralis (adult) can live both in the host's intestines and in the soil.

3. An accidental parasite is a parasite that enters an abnormal host by chance and becomes a parasite, such as some fly maggots that accidentally enter the human intestine.

Frogs are very susceptible to parasites, which live in their muscles. Eating frogs in large quantities will undoubtedly pose a hidden danger to your health. If you dissect a frog, you will find white spots in its muscles. If you touch them gently with tweezers, you will hear the white spots wriggling. This is a relatively rare parasite called Sparganosissoma mansoni.
