"Camphor balls" (sanitary balls) are processed from organic matter extracted from petroleum or coal tar. Their main components are naphthalene, paradichlorobenzene and chemical camphor, which are aromatic hydrocarbons. It is highly volatile and toxic. Among them, naphthalene was banned by the National Environmental Protection Organization as early as the 1990s, and p-dichlorobenzene was classified as a strong carcinogen by the World Health Organization.

A large number of experiments have shown that "mothballs" are extremely harmful to human health. Using mothballs to prevent moths on clothing was a practice in the 1970s. In the 21st century, we advocate environmental protection and health, improve human fitness, and use healthy products. The substances emitted by mothballs enter the human body through the skin along with clothing, causing chronic harm to the body. It can cause hemolytic jaundice in young children, vomiting and anemia in pregnant women, defects in the fetus, dry skin, hair loss, and even allergic eczema in adults with poor immunity. Long-term use for more than 10 years can cause fatal granulocytopenia, and even chronic cancer. Women are more sensitive than men.
